I pre-ordered the first game because it was Bungie, simple as that. Flawed in some areas, unable to live up to the massive hype and expectation it is still a great game. I've put in over 3000 hours, made some amazing friends and had some truly unforgettable gaming experiences. I expect Destiny 2 to be bigger, better, improved. From what Bungie have learnt and because old gen console capabilities are no longer a concern. I threw my money at the screen 2 seconds after the pre order went live. I've pre ordered movie tickets too, pretty much most of the Marvel ones and Star Wars too. I wanted to make sure I saw it as soon as it comes out and have decent seats. All these things I preordered were based on my personal taste and expectations of the people providing it. So far I haven't been let down. I didn't pre order no mans sky, mass effect etc because I wasn't confident they would deliver. I have pre ordered Red Dead Redemption as well because again I'm confident in what they will deliver. If my pre order helps Bungie with further DLC that's great
