I'm an adult, I pay my taxes, I pay for mine and my family's medical, housing, food, utilities etc. You spend your money however the -blam!- you want. If you want to pay a midget to drive you around in an unregistered car while you snort cocaine off of 2 illegal alien prostitute's tits, be my guest, your money.
Now that we have established that you can do whatever you want with your money, here's what I'll do with mine. Wait until all the content from D2 is dirt ass cheap and then buy it if I want to and be loaded with content that will last me until D3 comes out for a fraction of the price you paid for the same game that you shelved months prior.
But hey, at least you'll get a cool year 1 one emblem I won't be able to get and also will get to reminisce about the days when

Preach my brother! After $120+ on D1 no way I'm wasting money on a grind fest of little content. I'll wait until the game is truly finished before I put anything into it.

No offense intended, but while you're waiting for 9 months for the price to go down I'll be enjoying the game. You're going to hold off buying for, what, less than $100?? Some of these kids could easily cut down on the weed (I didn't even say Quit!) and use that money for something like D2 that doesn't turn their brain to jelly (as much). I don't understand why some players complain about spending less than $200 for 2.5 years of enjoyment playing Destiny. Wow.

It wasn't a fully 2.5 years worth of enjoyment for me. Got through the main story and was forever 29. Paid through the nose for a strike with TDB, HoW was tons better, but I was still playing the same thing over and over. Only now, these last 2 weeks did the game truly get good.

Well ok I guess if you missed considerable time in between then you'd feel the game got 'truly good' at the end, so maybe your strategy will work.

Honestly, the cost to buy D2 is the cost of three trips to movie theatre for me and my wife. Life is so short. Let's have some fun at least and let the money be the slave.

First of all I was only defending other people spending their money the way they want to. Secondly if you order the digital deluxe edition you'll get the game plus 2 DLCs for $100 if the game releases from 60 to $80 and the DLCs are released from $40 and you are already saving between 40 and $60 on your next 2 DLCs just by pre-ordering the game.

And if you're not a PvP guy, then in PvE by the time you finally get to a higher level you'll still be far behind. Be a solo all you want, at least you have the option to play with other higher ups because youve had this game this long
