Get a job... Happy Easter, kids.

You Children without any liquid income are not the target demographic. The sooner you accept this the happier you will be. For "kids" that think that not preordering the game is going to somehow change the quality at release; you do understand that these games were already made years ago and that your purchase does not change them don't you? ●Good games like we had on NES, Sega, PS1 etc. were only complete games without DLC because the Internet had not yet become a viable media for the average consumer. ●It's not hidden. The whole point of DLC is to substitute for lack of subscription fees. Xbox and Playstation already charge you for using your own internet. Bungie needs income to maintain servers and make a profit. ●If it costs 20 million to make a game that means you need to net 60 million to cover the first game to fund it's servers and the next game to stay in business. ○Now you have a widely availibe online environment thanks in most part to the target demographic of working ages 25 to 40 with liquid income that allows Development to expand games from 25 gigabytes to well over 60 gigabytes. ○We in turn purchase these games and Internet subscriptions for you our children. We buy your PS Network, Xbox Live, and we buy products placed in ads on your home screen that allow you the privilege to call yourself a "Gamer." You act as though there should be some kind of limitation on profit for Bungie, etc. as if there would be any games at all without any profit. ☆ ○Trees will stop being planted when you stop using paper. ○Ask yourself this, "How can I be opposed to preordering while at the same time I buy books, newspapers, or go to the movies?" ●When you don't preorder because you think the game is being cut up like a Pizza you are actually asking for a game that did not have planned expansion and just because you knew some additional content had already been developed you assume that it was cut from the original.
Start at paragraph 3 and stop here.
You whine and moan about pay to win, but you gladly play all the content it funds.
You can get a good look at a T- bone by sticking your head up a bulls a**, but I'd rather take the butchers word for it.
I gladly threw my money at my screen because I am an adult. I pay taxes for my streets. I pay taxes to feed the homeless people who live in my streets. I pay people to pump the crap from my toilets under my house. I pay for the guy who collects my garbage. But heaven forbid the company that adds a bit of enjoyment to my life make any profit on my preorder! Put simply if we all stop pre-ordering games today those games would not go to launch and we would never get to play them at all. GET A JOB! 1500+ Edit Day 3: Are you one of those kids with your hair sticking out from under the front of your crooked "baseball" cap and tight skinny jeans somehow still bunched up in the back? You look like you pooped your pants after a good window licking session. Toejam & Earl edit: people are complaining because I'm editing this post I see this as a live thread. Editing my thread is how I am able to respond to everyone at the same time and borrow other people's good insights in which case I always give them credit inside their original post.

  • Everyones calling this guy dumb but they are the same ones pre-ordering the game for full price lol, you guys know you can pre-order it for way less money right? You can pre-order games for like $5 dollars at most places... and you can cancel pre-orders... YOU CAN CANCEL THEM AT ANY TIME! EVEN AFTER THE GAME COMES OUT YOU CAN STILL CANCEL IT. You guys are on another level

    • I pre-ordered the first game because it was Bungie, simple as that. Flawed in some areas, unable to live up to the massive hype and expectation it is still a great game. I've put in over 3000 hours, made some amazing friends and had some truly unforgettable gaming experiences. I expect Destiny 2 to be bigger, better, improved. From what Bungie have learnt and because old gen console capabilities are no longer a concern. I threw my money at the screen 2 seconds after the pre order went live. I've pre ordered movie tickets too, pretty much most of the Marvel ones and Star Wars too. I wanted to make sure I saw it as soon as it comes out and have decent seats. All these things I preordered were based on my personal taste and expectations of the people providing it. So far I haven't been let down. I didn't pre order no mans sky, mass effect etc because I wasn't confident they would deliver. I have pre ordered Red Dead Redemption as well because again I'm confident in what they will deliver. If my pre order helps Bungie with further DLC that's great

25-40? More like 14-40. Also, the problems that ruined D1 are the ones that just ticked people off: leaving everything behind in year one, taking forever to update the raids, (people asked that for almost more than half of destiny's life!) needing things INTO THE GROUND, things like that. I think that most Destiny players would say that they do like the actual gameplay of zooming around on a sparrow, how weapons handled, and how PvP felt. (It was only the constant nerfs, the things that you had to use or you would hinder yourself, that made PvP a drag) The story had a LOT of potential, but that was not tapped into. So yes I think that D2 will be a better game than D1, because the things that made D1 crap are things that happened after its release, not the things that they worked on during its creation. You talk about kids (and make it sound like 7-12) as if they are stealing their parents money. Really? It is up to the parents of said child to give him the money or not. Then the kid spends the money on what he wants; if he doesn't like it then he won't continue to buy it. They are kids for crying out loud(no pun intended)! If they have fun playing the game they want to play but hate some of it, and still want to play, let them! It's the parents decision in the end. And from my understanding 30 bucks to give your child some fun, or 160ish for 3 years of fun, is worth it.

                • Idk what the big deal is, doesn't GameStop let you put as little as like 5 dollars down for a pre-order? You can pre-order it for $5 right, then play it or watch some gameplay, and then either cancel or pick up the game. And I'm pretty sure you'll still get whatever bonus it comes with, even if you're a day late picking it up. I saw someone down below say that if you preorder it's like getting a $10,000 loan towards a house that isn't built yet... or something like that. Lol that is not true at all. I would like to know how his train of thought got to that point but I digress.

                  • Lol, I get the analogy but I certainly hope trees are planted long after our use for paper. The whole oxygen production thing is kind of important. Btw, I get your point. I'm 30, married, own a house, etc... too. The people complaining about destinys cost really can't have any other responsibilities. The value this game has provided to me is unreal.

                      • Your right about the target market; it is the older people who get an income to support the cost of the games, and those who generally enjoy it. But, one company still targets the kids successfully and that's Nintendo.

                      • You've made the shit assumption, a strawman really that all the people bitching are children. What a -blam!-ing stupid argument. I agree with the sentiment, let people do what they want. I'm preordering it because I know I'm buying it day one already. But don't talk down and lecture everyone like they're children, like they are even your own. You conjectured that you pay for all the children's games and shit. You turned into the personification of "old man yells at cloud" as your wall of text grew and dribbled into vanity.

                      • Lmao just not true. Everyone could not preorder right now and yea things may be hectic for a short bit but they will work out. Preorders are bad for many reasons. Making publishers feel rushed to release a game on the day they said they would is just one reason. Makes games be rushed and makes for lots of games with shitty releases.
