[i] "For the last time Mark, I'm not buying -blam!-ing coke, I've got a reput- Oh -blam!- off mate," JT said into his Tac-Pad with a chuckle, eyes fixated on the screen built into his right arm. He tapped away at it, closed the call and allowed the screen to fade to black as he walked through the courtyard. He had a coffee in hand from the local Starbucks who managed to misspell a two-letter name. They wrote "JayTea" for some reason, damn hipsters.
The Marshal had only bore a few of his firearms on him, only his old T-29 Quantum revolvers and his shotgun, Triple Tap, as well as the Champions Rifle. He stood in the center of the courtyard and he had set up targets prior, which he proceeded to fire upon for simple practice. [/i]

Upon the seventh target that had been destroyed, the one who was practicing finally sheathed their katana, before sitting down upon a bench and drawing it once more in order to inspect it.[/i] [i]To describe the being in particular - it appeared to be a female, due to the body frame and slight curves. She appeared to be a samurai, in some sense, due to the apparel that she bore: it consisted of lightweight wooden armor, accompanied by plates of steel underneath and leather, ancient in design yet quite useful against melee weaponry, in some sense. Think of the Orochi armor in For Honor, that's a basic description of it. It was tinged with dark blue and deep red, perhaps to signify some level of importance.[/i] [i]Clasped within her hand was a singular, twenty-three inch long katana, the blade being cleaned by her gloved hand, which clutched a rag. Once she had cleaned it, it was as sharp and clean as ever, the edge of the blade gleaming. If her facial expression was seeable, for it was hidden away by a mask that was decorated to look like the growling maw of an oni - she would be smiling in some amount of satisfaction. [/i] [i]The samurai didn't draw her attention to JT as he fired up each target - although, she did look over a few times at him. Oddly enough - the light over her frame flickered a faint green - it was familiar, in some sense.[/i]

[i]Two girls slowly walk up to JT. The one with white hair, Snow, walks up with a cliche looking "I don't care" attitude while the other, Star, looks as if she's paranoid, always looking over her shoulder.[/i] [b]Snow:[/b] "Hey, cowboy! Bet my friend can beat ya in a shoot out." [i]Star's eyes go wide and she looks up at JT in panic.[/i] [b]Star:[/b] "Snow! I can hardly shoot let alone beat someone that casual practices!" [b] Snow: [/b]"It would be fun though...for me."

[i]"C'mon kid, it'll be good practice. Here, I'll let you use this," JT said with a chuckle, turning to face the two women. He loaded his rifle with a fresh clip of .45-70gvt. rounds and extended it towards Star, whilst drawing his own revolver Grimace. [/i]

[i]Star's hands shake for a second as she grabs the rifle.[/i] [b]Star:[/b] "I could use the practice..." [b]Snow:[/b] "There ya go."

[i]"Cool. So beautiful lady, you, what's the target?" JT inquired as he drew his second revolver and looked to Snow. [/i]

[i]Snow snickers and points to a group of bottles on the ground roughly 30 meters away.[/i] [b]Snow:[/b] "Lets start small. A bottle."

[i]"Ladies first."[/i]

[i]Star shoulders the rifle and brings it up to her eye with shaking hands. She fires and misses by a large margain.[/i] [b]Star:[/b] "Sorry!"

[i]"Here, you see that little guy at the end of the barrel? Well, line him up with the target. Make sure he's between the two lines closest to the gun, which is called the iron sights." [/i]

[i]Star sigh.[/i] [b]Star:[/b] "I know and I tried. I'm just so nervouse." [b]Snow:[/b] "You're just shooting a gun next to a guy, no reason to be nervous." [b]Star:[/b] "That's not why I'm nervouse, Snow."

[i]"What's got 'ya nervous, if you don't mind me asking?" [/i]

[i]Star nervously laughs and blushes lightly while giving Snow a small glance.[/i] [b]Star:[/b] "I-I....it's not a guy."

[i]"That's like sayin' I'm not a cowboy. What's on y'er mind?" [/i]

[b]Star:[/b] "Shooting?" [i]Snow bursts out in laughter.[/i]

[i]"Well if you were any farther off, it wouldn't be shooting in your mind. But really, you're just new - Not too bad." [/i]

[b]Snow:[/b] "She can't hit the side of a barn!" [i]Snow continues laughing.[/i] [b]Star:[/b] "Hey! I'm improving!"

[i]"Alright, what're your names?"[/i]

[b]Snow:[/b] "Snow." [b]Star:[/b] "I'm Star. It's a pleasure to meet you." [i]Star extends a hand for a handshake.[/i]

[i]JT shook Star's hand, using the shake as a way to discreetly stick his number into her hand on a piece of paper. "If y'all need any practice, give me a call. I'm John, most call me JT. Goes for both of 'ya."[/i]

[i]Star looks it over before pocketing it with a smile.[/i] [b]Star:[/b] "Thank you, JT." [b]Snow:[/b] "Thanks."

[i]"So, I'll assume you're better with melee weaponry than guns, Snow?" [/i]

[b]Snow:[/b] "I hammer things." [b]Star:[/b] "She hammers things."

[i]"One-handed or two-handed hammer?"[/i]

[b]Snow:[/b] "Depends." [i]She shrugs.[/i] [b]Star:[/b] "She has a lot of hammers."
