looks like what we all expected. destiny 2 will feature an attack on the tower/city that will write a way into the story to destroy all of our gear and accomplishments so that they do not carry over into destiny 2, only our guardian who survives the attack. how can we keep all of our loot when the tower and the vaults were destroyed? kinda like how in every metroid game you get your gear taken away in the beginning some how and you have to spend the remainder of the game acquiring it all over again.
