Edited by WhiskeyHotel: 3/27/2017 6:27:06 PMHow is it rushed? It was originally due out last year.
-
Read my previous comments, i made a comparison between the development time of Destiny 1 vs. Destiny 2. If you can sift through all the people slamming me for having an unpopular opinion, that is.
-
Edited by WhiskeyHotel: 3/27/2017 6:41:44 PMA sequel never needs the same development time though. Plus, we don't actually know when work began on Destiny 2 either. Not trying to slam you. Just legit convo

Just legit convo
True on your first point in most cases, although remember, Destiny 1 was (supposedly) using an older engine to accomodate Legacy consoles. Destiny 2 is being developed purely for current gen, you it's no stretch to assume they would need to craft a newer, more up ro date engine. Also, according to most sources, full term development began after TTK, because that's when the team's split and the Live Team took over for Destiny 1. So the largest amount of people working on Destiny 2 would have been after TTK.

This guy is some special kind of dumb
-
Prove it.
-
You are judging a new product based on a poster. That's it. That is dumb.
-
I'm judging a new game based on a developer's previous behavior. Good try though.
-
I too like to judge an entire body of work simply by looking at a poster. SMART!!
-
Except that isn't what i did. Let's move on.

I wonder that too. Because they didn't get lots of data of this game until 2 years in .. eeeh .. eeek
-
It was already delayed a year, you mook. And they already have the world and characters designed, they aren't coming up with a while new ip. A sequel is always shorter in development.
-
Edited by HRH FURY: 3/27/2017 6:33:47 PMI would have to agree that there are quite a few red flags... delays, Last minute studios being told to assist by Activision, and the Activision agreement with Bungie that places a tremendous amount of pressure on Bungie to hit their launch deadline under penalty of substantial stock ownership transferring to Activision...add to that their history and turmoil internally with Destiny 1 and I'd say those can be serious red flags
-
"Delayed a year" is corporate slang for "We're going to vivisect this game so it can be sold to you in pieces." Why do you think Destiny was such a cluster -blam!-? Cause they delayed it a year, fired everyone close to it and then chopped it into pieces and repackaged it.
-
It was already delayed a year
Yep. This generally is what's known as a bad sign.
you mook.
When you can't speak on the internet without insulting someone, you probably need to grow up.
-
lol you must be a very sensitive person if you take "you mook" as an insult.
-
I didn't say i was offended, i said it was an insult. Just because someone calls you a bad name or something doesn't mean you have to tale it personally, which i didn't. It doesn't make it any less childish though. I, for one, am DEFINITELY not somebody in need of a "safe space" or some shit.
-
well your definitely acting like a "mook" XD
-
A classic mook amiright
-
Oh, good. So you're just trolling then. Glad we got that worked out.
-
lol and your not? your calling a game out that literally hasn't released anything besides a single picture. sounds like trolling to me.
-
I was making an opinionated observation. You're the one taking it personally and making an argument out of it.
