looks like what we all expected. destiny 2 will feature an attack on the tower/city that will write a way into the story to destroy all of our gear and accomplishments so that they do not carry over into destiny 2, only our guardian who survives the attack. how can we keep all of our loot when the tower and the vaults were destroyed? kinda like how in every metroid game you get your gear taken away in the beginning some how and you have to spend the remainder of the game acquiring it all over again.

I'm a casual destiny player in terms of time played. I've been here since day 1 and done my fair share of raids and endgame. But I consider myself a casual with just 18 days or so of playtime and I step away and play other games all the time. Even still though in genuinely interested to see how D2 will turn out. I'm not hyped, I only get hyped for my favorite games like halo, gears (I'm a big fan of both franchises) but I'm definitely interested in D2. I'll be buying it. D1 is fun for me when there is shit to do, period. If D2 is completely fresh I'm on board.

I've always wanted Destiny to be great. Since I first played ODST and saw that little Easter Egg hinting at Bungie's newest adventure. "DESTINY AWAITS" it read, and still reads. While Destiny has improved tremendously, albeit slowly.. I was- still am really disappointed with Destiny's launch. . . . Here's to round 2. [i]Win me back [b]Bungie[/b].[/i]

I'm sure there will be a select hanful of Year 1-3 weapons available to us in Destiny 2. However, it's up to us to get them. Even though we don't have them anymore, that doesn't mean they don't exist.

The new poster shows what looks to be older gear (read; more dated) and no helmets. So, what's this potentially mean? [spoiler]Destiny 2 will be set in an alternate time line, the Vex will revert time to before we killed the Heart in The Black Garden, they will more than likely alter something (The location of the Heart?) and prevent us from killing it. We will be in a darker time line, one where the Vex have a bigger role and we weren't able to achieve what we did in Destiny.[/spoiler]

If the game is open world, hopefully it's more like BotW. If you see a mountain, you can actually climb that mountain. There's probably a Korok up there too.

3 RepliesI think we can all agree: If it's not finished and done RIGHT, we are more than happy to wait until it IS finished! Gladly wait an extra 6 months to avoid the chaos and "beta" testing that was, essentially, destiny 1. Fun as all hell and i loved y1. I did not like the nerfs(pve player here) and i was really bummed with no elemental primaries when ttk dropped. I went from raiding multiple times a week to doing zero endgame since TTK. I really hope they get it right and DON'T RUSH IT!
