I think the grind times are perfect now. The only thing is lack of content and we all now know that was due to the inefficiency of the game engine they created which made it take months for minor expansions. It's the sole reason they had to cut the game apart and sell it as expansions. That is why they created a new game engine for Destiny 2 which should allow for more content with a faster turn around on new content. If destiny 2 has more content, the grind level is fine as it is.

actually, most of their design team quit a year before the deadline for Destiny. They had to scratch most of what they had and build from the ground up. Which is why Destiny had no story and seemed empty and not completed.

That's why the game had no real story but the problem with the engine is totally separate. Hopefully they did fire the game engine team though too because I really think that effected the longevity of this game. Plus, it forced bungie to have to create a new engine for destiny 2.
