I really enjoyed your response. It is nice to see structured responses to someone else's opinion. I suppose play styles vary, for me and my clans, the grind was good. For example, if I drop an exotic now, it doesn't excite me. Back then, when there were elusive weapons to chase, the constant grind for me, was worth it. But then again, I'm one side of a coin. When I referenced about content being taken back, but this I mean that certain elements of the game were still there, but away from the narrative. For example, ttk, great expansion, I loved the dreadnought. It did however alienate previous content, for example VOG and Crota were left behind in terms of levels. So, to run VOG, you'd be better off with your VOG gear, for example oracle disrupting gear. However, the vault space critique meant that many didn't have their previous gear. The same can be said for certain strikes. Nexus, summoning pits pulled from rotation. Available in a non challenging way, out of the rewarding playlist. And then certain weapons were left behind at 170. If you didn't purchase ttk, you were locked out of strikes and nightfall. Although it didn't affect me, because I've been on the game since I got lucky to be invited to the alpha, and had all content, I appreciated the frustration other players felt.
