"Of course." She responds, as an audio file plays. It seemed to be camera footage of scientists working on some type of unknown specimens. This was followed by the door blowing up and an unknown thing coming out of it, eating the unknown scientists, before the camera was broke.
"This is Doctor Karin Chakwas, to anyone who may receive this message. That clip you've just seen showed one of our most advanced research ships, nicknamed the [i]VL-12[/i] being attacked. The ship was mostly used to investigate the same species that had appeared out of a portal in the Dojo, more than 6 months prior to the attack. We haven't heard from anyone in the past 2 weeks, and we may have fear that whatever is on that ship has some kind of active mind; almost similar to a hive, in that regard. These 'Infested' as we call them, seem to be attempting to spread their plague via this ship. Considering their contagion, they can spread to any populated planet within the galaxy. We want you to stop them. Rewards will be plentiful for your victory and destruction of the ship." The Doctor explained afterwards.

Mechanist simply grabbed one pf Silisa's hands and pressed 'YES'. He glanced at the list for a moment, and picked the first biotic shown.

...that would happen to be the asari in front of him, who's Omni-tool promptly showed up with a notification. "Well...looks like I'll be coming with you." She replies, a smile coming on her face. Kaidan bursted out of the house, plates of pancakes and bacon on it. "Anyone want some?" He asked, looking toward Mechanist.

Mechanist looked to Silisa, then Kaidan, the Silisa, then Riley. He un-taped the screwdriver and put his hand up slightly. "I'll have s-ome" He said, as he pulled the tip of the screwdriver from his throat.

Kaidan gave him a plate. "Right in he mouth..or are you okay with eating it? Not trying to offend you or anything; I'm just asking."

"I-I Ca-n H-H-handle i-t-t-t." Some of his arm feathers re-arrrange into a fork-like structre, which he uses to cut up and eat the pancakes. "To think I last over a thousand years, and I get killed by some Kaidan-Canadian cooking." He jokes, the gears in his chest grinding slightly louder as he shredded the food.

He smiles. "Don't say that. My cooking hasn't killed anyone yet." He bursted out into laughter afterwards.

Mechanist tapes the screwdriver back into his throat, and looks at Silisa. "Shall we?" He glances back and forth, before adding: "I kind of don't have a ship... Any chance the Alliance could provide one?"

"Yeah. Small...but it'll do. Alliance standard Kodiak shuttle." Silsia had explained. "Bit of a clutter in there if there's more than 7 people, and two pilots."
