This is the dojo official bio page! Feel free to copy your stuff from the old group and post it here if you need to. If you are new, make your bio here!
What is a bio?: You Bio describes who your character is and what they can do. Upon joining, please make a bio for your character. Before making your character, know that olden day characters(such as medieval characters) will likely be trumped by superior technology as well as future tech. The dojo is based in the present day.
YOU DO NOT HAVE TO HAVE EACH CHARACTER TESTED. ONLY ONE.
If you are bugged by the dojo posts. You have a mute button. Use it. It's much faster than you making a post showing a lack of intelligence to use a mute button!
Edited by Orn: 3/9/2017 11:47:15 PM
For those that don't know: This character is focused on a dæmon from the book series "His Dark Materials". I've found it to be a fantastic series, and I'd recommend whoever is looking at this to at least take a minute to look into it. That's all I have to say.
"Up with you. We've got new frontiers to explore." Achreíos = "Vile" in Greek
A 24" inch long pine marten, Achreíos is the dæmon of Arianna Elizia - daughter of Irina. After being torn through reality repeatedly by Amygdala, beings of celestial power and even Althreath himself - Arianna eventually entered the realm where Lyra Belacqua (the heroine of His Dark Materials) once lived within, which is inhabited by people with animal-like beings known as dæmons following them. Once Arianna came across it, Achreíos appeared - and is now tied to the young woman.
Dæmons:
Dæmons in Lyra's world are beings that are the external, or physical, manifestation of one's soul or "inner self", portrayed through an animal. Dæmons are capable of speaking, human intellect, and are usually independent of their masters. While they resemble animals, they are not true animals - as realistic creatures can detect. Dæmon's can be separated from their humans through an extremely painful process of creating a large amount of space between them, resulting in the dæmon's death and their master being left as a soulless husk of their former selves. Dæmons can track away from their users, although it causes discomfort. Dæmons share pain with their user.
