[b] Ashes to Ashes
Dojo path
11:21 AM[/b]
Twas a normal day. The sun was shining, the sky was blue. Everything was in order......until a small disquiet entered the area. It was subtle, like someone who didn't belong had chanced upon this place of training.
Upon the path to the dojo, a lone figure trudged up the steps. His armor was burnt, and even smoldered in places. On his back was a greatsword, large and with seemingly great weight. His face was hidden by the visor of his helmet.
He stopped at the gates, steeled himself, and walked inside.

[spoiler].... This should be interesting[/spoiler] [b]The gates creaked open, revealing the grim sight of broken buildings. People moved in an out of those buildings, repairing them. However, there stood a single man in black armour, a baggy one that seemed like a Musketeer's. He had a large hat, that fit well with armor and a blond moustache that obscured his face.[/b] [i]"Greetings traveller, I am Kross, Lord of Cinder and member of this dojo. Who might you be? "[/i]

"Lord of Cinder? Then maybe this journey was not in vain. I am Jace Thrane....the ashen one."

"Perhaps not. Maybe you are from a phantom world, or maybe I am of one."

[i]"A reasonable explanation to say the least. Have you come simply to hunt the Lords? Or have you come for something else?"[/i]

"I have come to hunt the lords, but if the fire has been linked....then I know not what I seek."

[spoiler]Prepare for a good fight.[/spoiler] As the Ashen One trudged forward through the great powdered snow lining the rocky terrain of the mountains, the path to the Dojo had one within the great flurry of snow. A figure in dark, swaddling, long robes approached, growing as the two walked towards each other. It had its long skirt flowing over the snow, walking barefoot through the snow with perfect skin of Astoran beauty but with a face obscured by a hood. A warm and inviting radiance flowed from it. "Hello, Ashen One," it spoke somberly.

He was dressed in the armour of the Wolf Knight, and had the sword to match, right hand firmly wrapped around the cruciform, flat part of the blade lying on his right shoulder, tip aimed for the sky at an angle. He stood at six feet and ten inches, dark blue eyes looking at the newcomer with curiousity. The Lord of Man, Chosen Undead from the ancient land of Lordran, the kingdom Lothric was built upon. "That I am." He said, stopping. He seemed young, maybe 20. The embers of his smoldering armor simmered around him, and his gaze seemed steely dark.

"I suppose it was only natural, for embers to pop up again. The Age of Dark wouldn't last forever, just like the Age of Fire. Was only natural, for Undead to be roused again, sent on a suicidal march to rekindle the First Flame." [i]He chuckled grimly. Didn't exactly seem like the joyful type so far, quiet the opposite, if anything. Dark and grim, maybe even crestfallen or edgy. Fuсk, maybe all four.[/i] "Tell me, Undead, were you the Chosen One of your era? Like I was the Chosen One of mine?"

"I suppose. Though, chosen isn't the name. They simply call me the Ashen One. Guess it can be hard to tell the difference"

"Ashen One? Times change, it seems. Did you rekindle the Flame, or did you usher in another Age of Dark? And, another question.. what kingdom are you from?"

"I have yet to do either. I am of the Kingdom of Lothric, or was. What order of knight I was no longer matters, as I am undead."
