She infused her knife with lightning, then charged at the man.

Each one tore through her armour and found itself buried in her chest. Finally, he fired a fourth round before falling backwards, and slowly passing into death. "Damnit. I knew they would follow. We can't let build any gates on this planet," Sarah said. She looked to Nathaniel, "I must go." Her wings of fire spread, and she left the cave.
