The blade dug half way through, which made the beast lose its duel with Alex. Releasing its blades, alex quickly took the opportunity to bring his blade around and swing in an arc, finishing the job and decapitating the beasts head which flew off its neck like a basket ball and rolled across the ground. It began to wander aimlessly around the room and banged into the wall, its arms impaling it's black liquid coated rock.
