Suddenly a voice was heard over the radio. [i] Attention, foreign cruisers, identify yourselves and your purpose or prepare to be subdued.[/i]

"Three... Two.... One."

Vince and Altar rush to the transport ships as the plan is executed. The enemy ships open fire.

[b]Two cruisers exited hyperspace on the sides of the enemy fleets, the fronts firing into the ships from the sides and crashing into the them. The other two, containing Vince, Altar, The Captain, and Kross exited hyperspace in front of the ships, opening fire [/b]

The flagship loomed ominously in the backgrounds, it's massive gun slowly charging. The attack ships that survived turned their attention to the remaining cruiser. Altar began to yell. "We need to get to the planet fast!"

"LAUNCH!" [b]The ship broke off into two parts, Kross, Altar and Vince were in the smaller one. The thrusters kicked on and the small ship flew into the planet's atmosphere, headed towards the surface Meanwhile, the cruiser charged towards the flagship, and the two cruisers that had gone in from the sides pushed the defending ships into each other [/b]

The flagship unleashed its main gun and fried the cruisers. "Get ready, there's gonna be a welcoming party." Vince shifted his cane to gun mode.

[b]One of the cruisers was destroyed into nothingness, while the second crashed into the front of the flagship and self destructed, going down with the flagship. In the smaller ship, with Vince and the others, the guards aboard prepped themselves for a party [/b]

The flagship was moderately damaged and the main gun was disabled. Near the beach, phantom knights began to lumber out of the forests.

[b]The ship landed on the beach front, and a ramp opened with troops pouring out [/b] [I]"Are you prepared?" [/i]

Vince held up his gun. "Yep." Altar cracked her knuckles and nodded.

[i]"Then let us begin." [/i] [b]The Trio charged out onto the beach with the troops [/b]

They were met by a force of many phantom knights with weapons ranging from swords to bows. Altar began shooting massive explosive bolts into the crowd. Vince began unloading clips of bullets into the knights.

[i]"Which direction are we headed in?! To find Thaddeus?" [/i] [b]The guards wield swords and guns, crashing with the Knights in sparks of light [/b]

Vince pointed west. "The city is west of here, 18 miles or so!"

[b]A jeep exited the ship, and Kross hopped up onto the side [/b] [i]"Enter the vehicle!" [/i]

They jump in. "Thanks for the assist."

[U]"NO problem sir'"[/u] [b]The driver hit the gas, and the Jeep roared to life, going West [/b]

For about five miles, they were safe, but suddenly a bolt of energy hit the front tire of the Jeep, shredding it. Altar looked in the direction of the bolt. "Knights, in the trees!"

[b]The Jeep went forward for a bit more, until it swerved and lost control, crashing into a tree. The driver slammed his forehead into the wheel, killing him almost instantly while Vince, Kross, and Altar were thrown off, uninjured for the most part [/b]

The group found themselves surrounded by phantom knights. One of the knights was taller than the others and it spoke. "Surrender and your deaths will be swift."

[i]"Heh."[/i] [b]Kross body seemed ridden with strange red lines, and in an instant Kross slashed the lead Knight across the wrists, following up by taking down another four His speed was incredible, moving in the blink of an eye [/b]

Four knights fell but the lead knight recovered quickly, unleashing a flurry of blows upon Altar who had summoned a magical sword and shield. More knights moved to engage Vince and Kross.

[b]Kross blasted lighting through the Knights, leaving them to Vince [/b]

Vince quickly fixed a blade to his cane and moved faster than sound as he cut the knights to pieces. "I've not moved that fast in a while, but we'll need it." Altar clapped her hands together as the lead knight's armor fell, dead. "You two ready?"
