[b]Safe house[/b]
Snow looked out from her window of her apartment building from inside the Dojo.
"As Buck said. 'Crap'. Can't go a full week without an invading army..." she said, sighing as she watched the chaos, a hand on her slightly enlarged belly.
"Nowhere I go is safe, now is it?.." she asked no one in particular, closing the curtains as she packed a go-bag with her belongings.

[i]Meanwhile[/i]
Mari was back to hiding in her basement, a large blanket wrapped tight around her as she screamed as an explosion shook the area. She sobbed, crying in fear. The little six year old would never be the same after what happened to Kari. What made it worse for her was that she relived that terrible night anytime she was reminded of the first invasion where most of her family was burned to death in their home out in the woods. Soonafter they got to the Dojo, someone came after her and Kari, deciding it'd be fun to try killing them for sport. Now, Mari was back to shaking, crying as she hid under the blanket wrapped so tight around her.
(open if you have a character who'd make sense to be at either place)

[i]as mari was crying a calm voice can be heard in her mind. -little one don't cry...where are you?...don't worry i am friendly...- A large black head of a wolf suddenly peeks through part the wall with a soft whimper and jingle of a tag on its purple collar. The tag read aiyanna. -my name is aiyanna i belong to the hayes sisters i heard you crying and i could sense that you were frightened.- A point the wolf hops through the wall. Is four larger than originally though as it sits down wagging its friendly at her as it stares at her with its bright red eyes. [/i] [spoiler]i rarely use her very often she's serenity pet she just very smart.[/spoiler]

Mari backs ahainst the wall, startled at first. Curiosity got the better lf her though as she sniffled, tilting her head. "How did.." she tried to say before she was cut off hy a little sneeze.

[i]the wolf continues to wag its tail. -im a ghost a friendly one-[/i]

She calms down more. Kari had told her stories of ghosts and spirits, and they were usually good ones, so the wolf's presence helped calm her as she eased slightly.

[i]-do not fear i wont ever hurt you honest but its not safe for you to be on your own...but no harm shall fall to you while i am here...- The wolf lays down but is still wagging its tail while looking at her.[/i]

She slowly scoots over to her, reaching towards her head to touch her ear.

[i]the wolf doesn't move a inch as she reaches for its ears. Aiyanna was used to being around little kids so being petted and touched by little kids was nothing new to her. -im around kids a lot so don't worry little one my owner has kids- [/i]

She smiles a little, petting her gently. "Th-thanks.." she eventually said.

[i]-no problem- Her tail noisely thumps on the floor as she pets her.[/i]

Mari smiles a little, amused by the thumping as she giggled a little after sniffling.

[i]the wolf lays it head in its paws still wagging its tail. -why are you hiding down here by yourself?-[/i]

She shrugs. "Im afraid to be upstairs...Mom isnt home yet.." she said while petting.

[i]-yeah it is scary out there but nothing will hurt you while i'm here. I can stay here with until you mama comes home.- [/i]

She smiles some more. "Thanks.." she said quietly, scratching the wolf behind her ears.

[i]-its no trouble at all.- She wags her tail more and is very happy. [/i]

Mari murrs a little, her tail wagging a little too.

[i]-my owner's kids are a little younger than you but their nice too. - She had keen hearing so she was able to hear what was going on outside. But as far as she could tell that they were safe.[/i]

Mari was trying to drown it out, focusing on the wolf. She eventually curled up next to her, nustling her head under the wolf's neck

[i]the wolf's fur is surprisingly soft when she curls up against her. She can sense her nervousness. -it will be okay - [/i]

Mari nods a little, cuddling into her more. "Why does this keep happening..?" she eventually said.

[i]- i do not know little one its just that world can be cruel sometimes. I have traveled here and there i could very well tell it just happens sometimes.- The wolf gives her cheek a little lick trying to reassuring her. Aiyanna has truly seen all sorts of things in her travels so she knew this wasn't the worst thing that could happen.[/i]

Mari nodded, sighing as she sniffled. "I don't want to l-lose anyone else..."

[i]she licked her cheek and nuzzled her a bit. -dont worry little one there a lot very strong people here.-[/i]

She hugged the wolf around her neck, sighing into her soft fur.

[i]the wolf let her hug her not minding not one bit. She knew that it comforts her. [/i]
