"Conquest is war, machine. This is what war is, a bloody and needless slaughter. What you see is a product of the world around you." [i]He said, the air growing noticeably colder as the figure of black, flaming void approached.[/i]

"I kill for what I stand for though." [b]The bear was hardly affected by the cold, being built to survive in Arctic temperatures. He stood up, becoming very tall.[/b]

"Killing is killing. The Soviet Union, the Third Reich, they slaughtered millions for what the believed in. Belief changes nothing. Belief does not console the dead." [i]He said, harshly.[/i]

[b]The bear thought for a moment.[/b] "I suppose you're right, but what do you kill for?"

"I kill for the hunt. Once betrayed, man becomes no more than a predator, a killer." [i]He said, halting before the beast.[/i]

[b]The bear looked down at him.[/b] "Is that how easily swayed you are? Weak."

[i]He simply cocked his head to the bear, the temperatures dropping to far below that of even Siberia. Something about this entity was unnatural, something about it was wrong. The sounds of war and slaughter amplified, almost to an overwhelming force. While the machine did not know fear, it would know overload.[/i]

[b]The machine cancelled its noise receptors and began running heating as it took a step back and held on to something on its back.[/b]

"Perhaps you do know fear, machine." [i]He said, approaching further.[/i]

[b]The bear read his lips and replied.[/b] "Not fear, logic." [b]He didn't move any further back.[/b]

"Logic does not explain me. Logic does not explain war, it does not explain slaughter." [i]He said, two gauntlet blades springing forth from his wrist.[/i]

[b]Gears clacked inside of the bear and his grip on the item on his back tightened.[/b] "You're right. But I don't use logic to go to war, I use it to win."

"And yet in the end, all that triumphs is death and destruction." [i]He swung straight for the bear's face.[/i]
