Wasn't a physical attack.
The Mack truck came out for the worst. As the Broodmother struck at thin air, trying to defeat the power attacking it, its flesh continued to be eaten by the power. Shadow's sword pulsed hungrily as she stared out across the battlefield, watching the mist pouring out of the sword continued to spread. Those that were within its reach began to slow, their energy draining at such a speed that a wounded soldier was eaten in moments. Emptied husks of defeated warriors began to litter the battlefield.

 • The thing, a Broodmother had not even come close to falling yet, and another one came up next to it, spraying some of that red goo on it's comrade. The Broodmother began to heal. The army marched down the streets and neighborhoods, just tearing everything to shreds. Cries of despair and death filled the skies.

 • Shadow tired of the game and moved. The Broodmother erupted in an explosion of gore as Shadow's sword sliced through it. Its very soul was devoured by the darkness inside the sword, but the hunger was not sated. It lusted for more. The sword was turned upon the newcomer, with much of the same result. Yet the sword still hungered. More soldiers fell where they stood, some cut down as they ran, others as they attacked the buildings. The mist was not picky. The bodies began to explode into even more mist, widening the influence.

 • That's when a Destroyer came through. Armed with a 105mm rifle, a massive round hit Shadow square in the chest. The mist seemed to do nothing to him, as he marched through it with no problems.

 • Shadow looked at her slightly dented armor, then sighed. "You scratched the paint." There was no paint to be found on her armor, however. "No one, scratches the paint." She reaches into a rift, then pulls out her unused Gauss Rifle. Charging it up at the Destroyer, she grins. "Goodbye." A four-foot long metal rod accelerated to a significant portion of the speed of light tears through the Destroyer, and continues on to leave the atmosphere. "Huh. That's new."

 • The Destroyer spun, and the rod hit a Grunt, destroying it. The massive being began to fire again and again, her bones rattling and cracking from the shockwave of the rounds. The explosives knocked her back, again and again.

 • Shadow stepped aside as she watched as the bullets in slow-motion. She moved fast enough to leave a blur as she slammed into the Destroyer and embedded her sword into its throat. The sword pulsed and the Destroyer was dust, its life-energy absorbed into the sword. Thousands of Grunts continued to fall to the mist of the sword. The oldest bodies began to rise and pick up their weapons, only to turn against their brothers and Broodmothers. Unfeeling, uncaring monstrosities began to cut down more of the army, the fallen only rising in a few moments to join the growing undead army.
This sword is the definition of Op. And it's Dojo Cannon. (Gotta love quests....)
• The Destroyer didn't crumble, he had no life, he wasn't biotic. No emotion. No thoughts. No soul. He put his hand around Shadow neck, and began to squeeze. More Destroyers, six total now began to fire on her. The army continued to advance, the must merely slowing them down.

 • Shadow's armor refused to crumple beneath the grasp of the Destroyer. She merely dragged the sword through it's neck and through its arm. The fire of the other Destroyers was blocked by a wall of darkness. The shots fired into it merely vanished into its depths. Shadow grinned as she got an idea. Tossing aside the limp arm of the fallen Destroyer, she motions her arm forwards and the wall erupted. Spikes of solidified darkness speared the six Destroyers before consuming them. The mist continued to grow as close to a quarter of the fallen enemies were now risen and attacking their fellows. The fire-tornadoes and earthen tendrils continued to destroy thousands of Grunts. Nature was not to be ignored.
