Of Wolf and Man "I hunt Therefore I am Harvest the land Taking of the fallen lamb" -Metallica Dojoville, Tatakai The Dread had arrived, viciously assaulting the Dojo and its forces without mercy. Both sides fought hard, but it appeared that things for the Dojo were not going nearly as well as hoped. The sounds and smells of war filled the air of the normally quiet area, and people fled and hid to avoid what was coming, not that there was anywhere to run. Amidst the bloodshed, reports had come in of something strange, and altogether horrifying. Traumatized civilians and Dojo fighters spoke of a being of fire, radiating a deathly cold, his eyes a piercing and eerie blue. His face, they said, a mask of white and black, his armor black and soulless, like staring into a void. To be near him, they said, was as to be paralyzed with fear, an inability to reason, to comprehend just what it was. To some, this apparition appeared to be a soldier. To those who knew legend of the Dojo and her history, they cowered in fear, terrified that the Betrayed Soldier had returned. The streets of Dojoville were empty, corpses of both Dread and Dojo fighters lining them, as the spectre approached. His walk was deliberate, purposeful, and in his hand, what appeared to be some sort of lever-action shotgun, a cloak of black flame billowing behind him, the air cold as death. •
Oh shit.
"Well, well, well. What do we have here?" Garin stood before the specter, dressed in light armor and a leather jacket. "Who the hell are you?" He unsheathes both of his swords.

 • "I go by many names in this place... In life I was one, in death, I am millions." He said, walking towards the figure, clearly unintimidated by their weaponry.

 • "So, you're the metaphorical type, eh?" He shook his head. "I'll let ya pass if you tell me why you're here.

 • "Where there is war, I follow. Vengeance for the dead, retribution upon the living." He said, voice devoid of all emotion.

 • "Sounds morbid. I'll let you go." He stepped out of the way of the specter and sheathed his swords.

 • He raised his shotgun to the man and fired, the slug the same glowing and pulsating black as his armor.

 • Jared Grant was watching this figure, clad in his ODST armor. He knew the guy, shit....he know most of the legends himself. He wasn't afraid of the figure, he merely respected him. "Long time no see, eh? What do you go by now?" Jared was simply crouched over the dead body of a man, the body clutching an old pistol. It looked like he died trying to protect his now dead family, the price of war...

 • "You know who I once was, Grant. But you are not who I seek." He replied, his weapon aimed downwards.

 • "You were part of this place before it had fallen from grace, before it had given way to war. You do not stand before me to defend this new era." He said coldly.

 • "That seems like a good reason. I don't defend this new place, not really. This world is not my home, I'm just passing through. Though.......there is some hope, no matter how scant, some here have shown promise."

 • "And yet soon the darkness of war shall engulf what Hope remains." He replied, almost sounding content.

 • "I doubt it. This dojo is more than just the people, and no matter how twisted the idea becomes, it lives on." He shrugged "But, have fun. If you see one of those furry bastards, please, skin them alive."

 • Out of the dead streets came glowing, red eyes and the sound of heavy steps on the road. A large, metal bear with a soviet flag stepped out into the open. It looked well armed and angry, standing pretty tall even on all 4's. His voice was robotic and almost angry. "What is this... slaughter?"

 • "This is what war looks like, machine. This is what they built you to do. This is what they do to each other." He continued to approach, unafraid. "Mankind knows not of its own limits."

 • "They built me to conquer, to be a harbinger of discovery and the spread of my country's spirit. You on the other hand, you are a mindless killer." The bear stepped forward, prepared for whatever might happen.

 • "Conquest is war, machine. This is what war is, a bloody and needless slaughter. What you see is a product of the world around you." He said, the air growing noticeably colder as the figure of black, flaming void approached.

 • "I kill for what I stand for though." The bear was hardly affected by the cold, being built to survive in Arctic temperatures. He stood up, becoming very tall.

 • He simply cocked his head to the bear, the temperatures dropping to far below that of even Siberia. Something about this entity was unnatural, something about it was wrong. The sounds of war and slaughter amplified, almost to an overwhelming force. While the machine did not know fear, it would know overload.

 • The machine cancelled its noise receptors and began running heating as it took a step back and held on to something on its back.
