[i]"Valentine's Day"
(Outside Dojoville, near the SSV Deimos)[/i]
"Mommy, is that what you do when you get a husband?" The child, Maya, asked Valeria as they watched Merrick and Silsia kissing one another.
"Well...not for ten minutes staright, that is. It's usually much shorter than that." The Alliance officer replied, taking the child off the Deimos outside, where "Peacekeeper" was busy staring at a nearby bush, where two deer were at.
"What exactly are you doing?" She asks the Geth.
"Studying the species known as 'deer and doe' to add to the Geth consensus." He replied, continuing the scan them discreetly.
Cryark, meanwhile, was about to nail a poor squirrel's tail to a nearby branch, mentioning something about humans and mistletoe.

[b]A man approached the ship, specifically the geth and alliance troop He stopped a few feet away and did a slight bow [/b] [i]"Is this the crew of the Deirmos? '[/i]

"Affirimitive." "Peacekeeper" replied. "What is your inquiry on the crew?" It asked, Valeria looking in a small bit of suspicion, the child nearby oblivious to what was going on.

[i]"I require your assistance in an endeavor." [/i]

"Depends on the endeavor. Oh great, now I'm sounding like Merrick...what do you need?" Valeria asked, walking up to the man. The Geth Prime simply looked on with curiosity.

[i]"It has come to my attention that your are friends of Watcher, and so I wish to ask you... What happened to the agency known As Cerberus? I spoke with the Illusive Man. He told me to seek you out."[/i]

"Cerberus? That name has not been heard of in approximately 20 years." The Prime replied, as Valeria stiffened herself a little bit, remembering something about the company. "Can we...do this in a more private place?" Valeria asked the man, the Geth Prime walking back to scan more things on the planet.

[i]"Of course. If possible, the remaining crew should have a presence there as well [/i]

"The problem is...they don't know what I've seen...what I did after the old crew split up. Maybe you have somewhere we could talk privately away from the rest of the crew." She asks politely and quietly.

[b]Kross nodded understandingly and motioned for her to follow as he began walking off [/b]

She joins him, as out of the corner of her eye, Cryark seemingly notices her leaving, notices something in her hand, then nods silently, before picking up another squirrel, carrying it to the nearby forest.

[b]Kross stopped outside a two story building, and proceeded to enter it. As the woman followed, she saw that there was several boxes of what looked like supplies, presumably a safe house [/b] [i]"Is this fitting?" [/i]

"Perfect. So... what do you want to know first?" She asks, a bit shaken.

[i]"I will tell you after you answer my question." [/i] [b]Kross said, turning around to face the woman in the rather small room [/b] [i]"What happened to Cerberus?" [/i]

"Cerberus...died out after the apparent killing of the Illusive Man. But if you knew what he was, you'd know he had a backup plan. Someone somehow downloaded his conscience into an AI, and a childhood friend of mine took full control of Cerberus. Part of the new group left to some planet called Meizhong, where I think the Illusive Man is hiding. The part that stayed became more like how they were before, destroying everything on all sides of the political spectrum before hiding. Why did you want to know, by the way?" She explains, then asks Kross.

[i]"The new Cerberus is planning on Assassinating the crew of the Deirmos. Along with any surviving Normandy crew." [/i]

"New Cerberus? Did he give any name as to who it was leading them?" She asked, worrying about them.

"[i]An Asari woman I believe. I don't fully recall. "[/i]

"Asari? I thought Cerberus didn't exactly trust aliens." She says, scratching her head in confusion.

[i]"Someone took over. Through force. They don't have to be trusted." [/i]

"I may have some idea on who's behind this...although last time I remembered, she was transferred to an Alliance prison on Feros. I also...remember her attempt to turn me." Valeria thought out loud, shivers coming to at the memories.

[i]"The Illusive Man warned that they may try assassinating you." [/i]

"The Illusive Man? If he's the one to warn a random person like you...then he could be telling the truth. I still have contacts with one of the Normandy's crew once in a while. She was working with the Alliance's 5th fleet. Maybe we could tell her to spread the warning. Also...I was one of the Alliance agents who'd help hide the Illusive Man's AI core...though I didn't do it willingly, let's say." She explains, as she inspects the Carnifex pistol attached to her hip.

"Right. But how do we know that he's just doing this to return Cerberus to its former glory? I don't know...we can't stop both of them at once, it'll be too dangerous. The crew dosen't know about Cerberus's return, and neither does the Normandy crew...'least not yet." She responds, pulling out an old Cerberus probe
