Genuine idiot here. You make this argument against Blade and yet they made no comment about touching the health regen capabilities of Sunbreakers. Blades can't one-shot anything with an overshield (Sunbreakers can), Blade doesn't regen from grenade kills (Sunbreakers do), Blade has no reliable distance kill ability with its super only short range (Sunbreakers have hammers), you have to pop blade in close proximity because everyone runs as soon as they hear a super pop, this has resulted in more trades and death because of its lack of range super (Sunbreakers have the most straight line speed in the game, using the actual super of Blade to move faster drastically uses it up where as Sunbreaker lasts significantly longer because of the speed boost from jumping. There is no argument here, nerfing Blade is due to ignorance, plain and simple. Dude even demonstrated he had no idea what he was doing by his own crucible knowledge. RIP Destiny.

Sun breaker doesn't get that level of agility and mobility, sunbreaker doesn't get to infinitely use the hungering blade since there's no cooldown, sunbreaker doesn't get to go invisible. See? They each have benefits, and bungie decided blade dancer has more benefits.
-
Sunbreaker has even more agility with Twilight Garrison equipped, which a majority of people use as the Titan exotic because it's so good. The only noticeable cooldown for health regen on Sunbreakers is when using the super after you kill your first enemy, and you still get it on grenade kills smh. Going invisible should be out of the game, take it off of Blade. See what? I see Blade being nerfed into the ground again by people at bungo who have no clue what they're doing. Great, now Blade has even less health regen capabilities in its super compared to Sunbreakers while Sunbreakers can still one-shot a Blade, have health regen from grenade kills, and have a long range super attack when Blade does not. What a joke. Give Blade health regen on grenade kills and call it even then.

OP was talking about close-range shut downs. Truthfully, sunbreakers are easier to team shoot (at a distance and close range) due to their predictable movement trajectories (unless using twilight garrison), while bladedancers are more nimble, can blink, go invisible, and blade swipe to circumvent enemy fire. Practically the only way to shut down a blade (unless you're a SirDimetrious level quick scoper) is with a critical shotgun hit followed by a melee. Your chances of quickly shutting down a blade using a shotgun melee instantly plummet, meaning bladedancer would become an even more ubiquitously chosen hunter subclass because it would be nearly impossible to shut down. OP is correct in what he is saying - the bladedancer and shotgun nerfs went hand-in-hand.
-
Not looking for argument just a opinion from a hunter.(^-^") by the time you finish the vanish animation you'll be dead if 1 guardian sees you and sunbreakers can do the suncharge (I think is called?) hope bladedancer still useful after patch

Garrison is the primary exotic used for titans, so a majority will have more mobility. Blink has all but been erased from the game, the cooldown and detriment to recovery have severly impacted it. Invisible, sure i guess, but with a sound effect that alerts everyone and it lasts only a short time and immediately disappears if you were to use blink. Using Blade's swipe to evade drastically reduces the super's availability, it runs out incredibly fast. As far as we know now, they haven't touched the other roaming supers. Saying that nerfing Blade to make sure it isn't OP while leaving Storm and Sunbreaker virtually untouched is unacceptable. The person in charge of these changes obviously has no clue what he's doing (evidenced by his ineptitude while playing crucible) and that fact that he has support from the community on the nerf to Blade is of no surprise.

Sunbreakers are so much easier to team shoot. Like it's not even on the same planet
-
Um, Sunbreakers with Twilight Garrison are not easier to team shoot than Blade with Bones. You can even Suncharge into cover since it covers so much distance quickly and still leaves you with plenty of super. So I guess you're right, they're not on the same planet.
-
If you can't hit a sunbreaker you need to git gud sir
-
Actually you're right, it is easier to team shoot a Sunbreaker, there's no reason to team shoot a Blade since it dies so easily to a shotgun blast smh so dense.
