Entering the atmosphere was a mistake, the dojo received confirmation of the arrival, shortly after sending their own dropships to investigate the matter Mac Cannons with heavy machine guns up front, some carrying tanks

 • Orbital Installations where destroyed not long after arrival, satellites or other systems going dark as slowly communications where slowing down. Dropships sent to investigate, given the chance, where ripped apart by the opposing faction's own hidden tanks and soldiers.

 • Every now and then screams where heard, soldiers going missing or dying suddenly from massive bolts fired from unknown sources. Reports slowly came in of massive armored figures, able to move at insane speeds and oddly quietly as well.

 •
This isn't a massive armored guy lol Soldiers, my own concoction for a super soldier, VALKYRIEs
The base was monitored heavily, but left alone, adding to the stress and anxiety of the soldiers stationed in it. Meanwhile, the tanks dropped to the surface where covered and hidden, moved slowly day by day to the massive wall of the Dojo, remaining unknown and unseen due to extensive camouflaging.

 • Day by day? Wait this is happening over days??
Whenever the sun came up, the dojo Guard pushed up further and attacked what they could see to the best of their abilities
•
Oops, well I would assume so, because its not like this will happen all in one day.
Each time the Dojo Guard pushed, they met a silent and heavy resistance. Meanwhile, the ships in orbit turned broadside, hidden in the constant circling shadowed part of the planet as they unleashed a salvo of rockets and attacks upon the two Dojo ships that had entered orbit. A dropship was among them, carrying a powerful weapon, known to the opposing fleet as a Rupture bomb, a specifically designed slip space drive that sent sections of areas into Limbo. It launched, entering a slip space stream as it streaked at the other ships in the alternate dimension.

 • The two cruisers were a good distance away, making it difficult to shoot at them from around the planet. They followed the light, staying over the dojo as well as they could, their shields Taking any stray shots that actually hit. The dojo Guard was yet to be exhausted, as a spec Ops team entered the forest to eliminate anything they could

 • The team, finding nothing, was forced to return home. Although unnoticed scanning systems and snipers had been positioned all throughout the forest by the space bound army. The ship carrying the rupture bomb went back into normal space, positioned between the two ships and the station they where located at. Five seconds went by, not long enough to get a shot off at the small dropship, as it winked a bright blue light, then was engulfed in an orb of light that expanded outwards. The orb was immediate, expanding suddenly and engulfing parts of the cruisers and the station, reaching its full size as it imploded then, the engulfed areas being taken out of existence, effectively getting rid of the station and putting the cruisers out of use.

 • A third cruiser entered the air space, examining to understand exactly what had happened The guard prepares for whatever could happen next

 • An odd occurrence then happened, as one of the frigates from the invading party appeared seemingly out of nowhere under the Dojo cruiser. It was facing sideways by simple standards, one of juts broadsides pointed up at the belly of the Dojo cruiser, as its then unleashed its payloads of weaponry. Rounds tore into the Dojo ship, energy weapons firing and taking down the shielding as MAC cannons and HAVOC launchers fired repeated salvos at the belly, piercing the hull and causing the atmosphere inside the ship to vent immediately. The sudden decompression killed crewmembers and cause several decks to groan and crumble at the sudden loss of air and pressure. After a solid minute of attack, the invading frigate disappeared, using an unknown form of FTL travel, or if it was, worm hole technology.

 • The ship creaked an shook, but wall still able. The bridge was a buzz, and a message was sent out to the rest of the fleet Reinforcements were coming... Soon. The cruiser still moved, the areas into space were closed off as smoke went up into space

 • The message, being intercepted, served as a warning to the invading fleet. More of the rupture bombs where primed and readied on dropships, fighters being assembled and the massive RFS Valhalla prepping its two Super MACs, both capable of firing three successive rounds.

 • Two dojo cruisers started towards the planet, then four, then 12. A dozen cruisers on there way, for the most part coming from different angles to insure that the rapture bombs could not take all the ships in one go

 • The unknown fleet scattered, leaving the returning Dojo ships to try and locate them. The four frigates prepped their own Super MACs, more ordinary designs, one shot per charge. The invading fleet disappeared, preparing to launch an outgunned war using guerilla tactics.

 • It found nothing, only to be met with a second Rupture bomb, which detonated near the middle of the ship, engulfing and splitting off the ends of it as the middle section was lost to an unknown location.

 • "Where the hell did that come from?!" "We believe it came from... From the darkness." "Open fire. Do what you can." Three dojo cruisers fired into the darkness, hoping to get a few lucky shots off presumably

 • During the ensuing chaos, three of the four frigates fired their Super MAC payload, hidden at a safe distance before making the same odd jump as has been used. The three shells slammed into different sections of three random Dojo cruisers. The first one impacting dead center, making the ship groan and nearly cave in half as it went tumbling and rolling in space, venting its atmosphere and killing some of the crew. The second impacted towards the front end of the ship, searing off the front and causing it too come to a sudden halt from the immediate loss of atmosphere, sending anything inside tumbling and crashing to the decks. The third followed the same course as the first, although impacting a bit to the rear, causing the ship to begin doing wide spiral arcs and send it tumbling as well.

 • This was exactly what was needed. One of the cruisers had followed the trajectory of the shots, and a single round fired off, hitting one of the frigates and tearing into it. A second shot, then a third rang out, each meeting it's mark and effectively disabled the ship A fifth cruiser fired off a few rounds, following the trajectory of a second frigate

 • Unknown whether or not the attacks where successful, the frigate targeted managed to escape in its worm hole like FTL field, disappearing and relocating at an unknown position. The other two had followed suit, as the rounds fired struck nothing.

 • With one down, but still unknown to the Dojo, the cruisers did what they could to pull out, though one was completely immobilized and the other seemed stuck Another ship started into the dark, the cruisers looking for a lock on

 • The space around the planet was quiet, the unknown faction was surely using something never seen before; randomized attacks and powerful hit and runs. It was the work of guerilla warfare taken to the extreme. Small fighter ships warped around the planet then, stealth drives on them kept them hidden, direct line of sight being needed to actually spot them. They unloaded their own satellites and scanning systems, making sure the space around the planet wad clear of any other defending ships.

 • It most certainly wasn't, out of the nineteen still in commission, Seven of them were watching towards space to insure they wouldn't get attacked by reinforcements. The other twelve were focused on the frigates. And then, boom, boom. Two more cruisers entered the fray, also taking defensive positions

 • The silence continued, the eerie way the invading fleet had vanished caused unrest among the crew of the fleets. The frigate that had been hit had returned to the invading faction's planet, undergoing repairs as it would soon return. The other ships waited, the Valhalla still unseen in the battle.
