Jim was momentarily taken back by the dark figure standing before him. He laughed out of a nervous habit to appear calm when he wasn't.
"Heh... I doubt no one [b][i][u]crosses[/u][/i][/b] you much, right?"
Jim chuckled nervously, wondering how Kross would take the pun.

The spiky ball looked at the figure and then back at Watcher. "My apologies," it bowed. "His ability to use verbal communication as quite deminished." It floated on to catch up with the figure.
