"I do wonder if it's spirit remains within the place. It might be useful in our upcoming situation. As for the sword, one can hope it would be more functional than those that were found in the castle. The halberd I found will do but it's still such an obscure design"

"I am not sure. It does seem strange that he is so sure it will help. I would ask Chesh but I feel we would end up with more questions than answers"

"Yeah... He's a very odd. An odd way of explaining things. I guess we'll have to figure it out when we get there."

An announcement cracks out on the intercom from the person that was conducting the train. "Attention passengers... we have approached the one year stop... we will now be de-departing soon." Chesh gets up from his chair and starts to walk to the exit on the train. "[u]well it looks like we're here. It's been a while but it's hard to forget this place. It feels like I've been here every day.[/u]"

[b]Royal got to his feet as well [/b] "Yeah. One of those places huh?"

"Yeah, the beast was slain, a head was removed, then suddenly I'm claiming the crown. All thanks to one girl mad enough to follow advice from a cat. Well, I guess I'm not quite a cat anymore which makes this story much more bizarre"

"Wait.... So you were the cat mad Alice spoke with?"

"Well you know how they say cats have nine lives? Well would it come as a surprise that I may have... lost my head once and ended up like this?" He gestures his throat being cut with one of his hands and a small scar is seen running across his neck very reminiscent of a guillotine cut. Ash was a bit confused as she looked upon it. [u]"but then I should have seen you if you died. We're you... reborn?"[/u]

"I think that's what he was getting at. Rebirth through a cat."

"Indeed, besides, I think going from cat to king is quite the upgrade." As they approached the site a young woman was laying propped against a tree. It seemed she had fallen asleep there beside a top hat and a pocket watch. "[u]who is that girl?[/u]" Chesh grinned, surprised to see her. Despite being out in the weather she seemed to be comfy out in the warm air of Wonderland as she slept. She wore and old dress with wear from the environment and spots of blood dried onto one of the sleeves. "So that's where you've been all this time"

"No.... If that's who I think it is.. Then we're very much in the presence of a-" [b]He suddenly fell silent [/b]

"Well may I introduce you to the legend herself. The one mad enough to slay the beast and end the queen." Alice wakes up groggy and let's out a groan. [u]"I'm not that heavy of a sleeper freaking cat. Now what do you want? Pit me against some other nightmare threatening to destroy this world?"[/u] "Oh no, we're just here for the sword today" Alice sighs getting up to her feet. "[u]and let me guess he dragged you two into this?[/u]"

"I don't even know what I'm doing here to be perfectly honest with you."

"Well considering he's having you grab that blade I can figure one of you guys want to stop something that otherwise would be unstoppable. Some gargantuan beast? Another person trying to destroy Wonderland? Or maybe one of my relatives are still alive and just as crazy as I was." Ash walks up to the woman, looks as her for a second. "[u]You don't look like the girl in the books, but are you alice?"[/u] "Well, yes, to be honest I didn't know they wrote a book about me. Anyways you didn't answer me. Why's he having you grab that thing again?"

"We're going after a beast that wants to be a god. We have to defeat him."

"Really now? I thought I tore right through the toy maker when we fought." She says mistakening it for one of the people he had to fight. She looked a bit confused thinking back to that battle and was certain she slayed him. "[u]no, it is a man by the name of Anthony. He went mad and is currently causing chaos through out where we come from.[/u]" Something about the conversation caught Alice's eye. "Right and what? He lost his family in a house fire?"

"Well he lost his family, but I'm not entirely sure where or how."

Ash was surprised about the fact Alice knew that and it took her a little off guard. "How do you know that?" "[u]wait? I'm right? No, no. He was dead, I- how?[/u]"

"Well its a sob story, it doesn't take many guesses to get it right."

Alice's face became pale as her face filled with shock. Her hands were shaking after hearing this and almost fell over. "I snuck out one night when I was still just a child in an ordinary world. I came back and my house was ablaze. I just ran and ended up falling. Next thing you know I was here. Anthony was my father's name"

".... " [b]Royal looked down at the ground, his own face pale [/b]

Ash seemed to pitty the girl and hugged Alice as she stood frozen in place. "I... may not know much about family life first hand. But I'm sorry. I can't say for sure that we can spare him. He's... dangerous" Alice just stood there in Ash's embrace still in shock over the discovery of what had become of her father. "[u]I... barely knew him...[/u]"

[b]Royal didn't know what to do. He was never equipped for these sorts of emotional things. He stood awkwardly, looking down at the ground [/b]

Chesh finally builds up the nerve to speak. "Now, I know we had our... differences per say but you did save Wonderland twice so you have my respect. You said you barely knew the man and yet we know he's causing destruction to no end as we speak. Does that sound like the Alice I know? Does it even sound like someone you would want to know?" Alice shudders for a second, trying to form words then finally exhales and gets a grip on herself. "[u]Well, dammit... you know I hate you, you freaking cat... one of these days I'm going to rip the royalty right out for you and claim that throne of yours[/u]." Chesh puts back on his antagonistic grin figuring he gotten through to her. "Well it's good to see you back to your old self. I welcome you to try and take that off my hands."
