"Wait the conductor?" [b]Royal fell into the shadows, stepping out behind the conductor of the train [/b]

The conductor just sits there staring blankly into the furnace. "Hello, this is your conductor. We will be departing in exactly one year. After that a day, then final stop will be in three weeks" He keeps rambling over and over, repeating the same set of words

"Uh... Okay..." [b]He stepped back into the shadows, Appearing back in his seat [/b] "Is this a joke to you?"

The conductor turns his head with a look of horror on his face as he stares at the man in the room and continues for several seconds before talking. "The first stop will be in one year. Please, please remain seated" Chesh suddenly appears in the room rubbing his forehead with his fingers. [u]"It will be one year in fifteen minutes[/u]" The conductors face only begins to show more fear hearing those words.

"Chesh what the hell is this? I know it's supposed to be Wonderland and all that but this is just... Freaky."

"He... well, he's what is known as a doll. They tried to destroy Wonderland once and failed but not without causing quite the amount of damage." Outside the window it starts to become noticeable the only thing outside was train tracks. It was like gazing into an abyss with no end and only fragments of land floating in the distance. "It actually used to be worse than this. For me, the only reason that one is alive is because he knows how to operate this train. I've driven him mad enough to the point where he can't tell who to obey but he has progressively gotten worse even when I stopped. He's a bit of a handful at this point." The conductor simply continues to stare in horror at Chesh without moving. Chesh didn't care though. For him it was nothing more than a murderer that he only kept as long as it proved useful. [spoiler]ok maybe this got a liiiiittle darker than I thought[/spoiler]

[spoiler]Damn... That's Uh.. That's so Royal to be honest [/spoiler] "Hehe I used to do that to my enemies. Worst kind of torture to be perfectly honest." [b]He looked at the conductor [/b] "You leave them so... Broken. That they can't ever go back to what they were."

"Even if he snapped out of it there really is no place for him in this world. The toy maker is dead, the toy box was smashed and the only thing left of that mess is this train." He turns to the conductor and brings his face down to his level and looks at him. "One year, is in fifteen minutes. There are fifteen minutes in one year. You should know this by now" "[u]This is the conductor. The first stop... is in one year... one year is fifteen minutes.[/u]" "Good for you! You got it right this time! Now remember we stop in one year!" Chesh then vanishes and returns again back in his seat. A warm tea cup was waiting for him which he beings to enjoy seeming as if nothing had happened.

[b]Royal sighed, as he also recapped back in his seat next to Ash [/b] "Ash... What did you learn of this place?"

Service was still around serving food and drinks. Ash had a cup of tea in front of her and a bowl of soup. "I asked one of them about where we are going and I guess it's an old burial for the monster they called the jabberwocky. Strange, they kept the sword with the creature all along"

"The sword of the Jaberwockky huh? Sounds like something a madman would use... Id actually like to see the burial site."

"I do wonder if it's spirit remains within the place. It might be useful in our upcoming situation. As for the sword, one can hope it would be more functional than those that were found in the castle. The halberd I found will do but it's still such an obscure design"

"What do you think the blade would do to make it better?"

"I am not sure. It does seem strange that he is so sure it will help. I would ask Chesh but I feel we would end up with more questions than answers"

"Yeah... He's a very odd. An odd way of explaining things. I guess we'll have to figure it out when we get there."

An announcement cracks out on the intercom from the person that was conducting the train. "Attention passengers... we have approached the one year stop... we will now be de-departing soon." Chesh gets up from his chair and starts to walk to the exit on the train. "[u]well it looks like we're here. It's been a while but it's hard to forget this place. It feels like I've been here every day.[/u]"

[b]Royal got to his feet as well [/b] "Yeah. One of those places huh?"

"Yeah, the beast was slain, a head was removed, then suddenly I'm claiming the crown. All thanks to one girl mad enough to follow advice from a cat. Well, I guess I'm not quite a cat anymore which makes this story much more bizarre"

"Wait.... So you were the cat mad Alice spoke with?"

"Well you know how they say cats have nine lives? Well would it come as a surprise that I may have... lost my head once and ended up like this?" He gestures his throat being cut with one of his hands and a small scar is seen running across his neck very reminiscent of a guillotine cut. Ash was a bit confused as she looked upon it. [u]"but then I should have seen you if you died. We're you... reborn?"[/u]

"I think that's what he was getting at. Rebirth through a cat."

"Indeed, besides, I think going from cat to king is quite the upgrade." As they approached the site a young woman was laying propped against a tree. It seemed she had fallen asleep there beside a top hat and a pocket watch. "[u]who is that girl?[/u]" Chesh grinned, surprised to see her. Despite being out in the weather she seemed to be comfy out in the warm air of Wonderland as she slept. She wore and old dress with wear from the environment and spots of blood dried onto one of the sleeves. "So that's where you've been all this time"

"No.... If that's who I think it is.. Then we're very much in the presence of a-" [b]He suddenly fell silent [/b]

"Well may I introduce you to the legend herself. The one mad enough to slay the beast and end the queen." Alice wakes up groggy and let's out a groan. [u]"I'm not that heavy of a sleeper freaking cat. Now what do you want? Pit me against some other nightmare threatening to destroy this world?"[/u] "Oh no, we're just here for the sword today" Alice sighs getting up to her feet. "[u]and let me guess he dragged you two into this?[/u]"
