"So do I, albeit a younger one."
Fionn replies, picking up the feather that fell.

"I could start on it. It all began with a Titan. Last name Grey, and he fell for a refugee he was escorting to the Last City. But after nine months, the woman wasn't the only one he was escorting to the place of refuge. Family. They had a family. But their happiness would not last long."
-
"Would she wan' ya to tell me this?" Fionn asks.
-
"She's gonna be knocked out for a few more hours. Anyway, tragedy struck. The girls, the twins that had made the couple so happy, were captured. By the Hive. Taken aboard the Dreadnaught, raised with lies seeded on her head. Until they escaped. Not exactly clear how, but they were separated from each other as they fell through Earth's atmosphere. Both died when they hit the ground. But one died in the Tower Plaza. Other died in the Cosmodrone. Guess who revived the twin who died in the Cosmodrone. Yours, truly, me."
-
"And she remembers pre resurrection?" He asks, somewhat surprised.
-
"They both do."
-
"How is that possible?"
-
"They were only dead for 10 minutes at most."
-
"That explains it." He nods.
-
"Yeah. Plus Sarah always been good about not forgetting stuff."
-
"Photographic memory?"
-
"Yep."
-
"Tha' I can relate to. The things I wish I coul' forget..."
-
"Just as bad as her life now."
-
Fionn shakes his head. "I suppose I aug' to tell ya a bit o' my story now. Tis only fair."

"Have you e'er heard o' the battle of Rio?" He asks.
-
"I haven't."
-
"Well 'en, I guess I aught to start there. About twenty years back, the Vanguard got a report tha' there was a bunch o' active golden age tech in the city, so they sen' thirty guar'ians to investigate, includin' a young Hunter." He begins his story.
-
Lunar bobs up and down in acknowledgement.
-
"Well, the Guardians made it to Rio, and found something a bit more surprising than tech. They found an entire civilization o' people, hiding in the jungles and ruins. Three thousand of 'em. They moved in to evacuate them, and managed to draw the attention of a Fallen house, the house o' Shadows. They fought each other for days."
-
"More than Skirmishes. I hope you were prepared."
-
"Heh, yeah. Eventually we were low on ammo and exhausted. The leader, a Titan named Arthur, asksed for volunteers to hold the line while he and a group of us escorted the remaining people out of the jungle. Naturally, all of us volunteered, so he had us draw straws. I drew the short one and stayed behind with five others."
