Royal sat down on the bench in the main courtyard, staring at the cherry blossom tree.

Mari walked over to him, dressed in a simple white dress that went down to her feet, a snowflake design stitched into the dress. She looked at him, and then at the tree. (You know who Mari is, right?)
-
(Yee i think) Royal waved at her "Hey there special snow flake. Don't you feel unique?
-
She shrugs, looking at the tree again, interested.
-
"You know what this tree symbolizes to the Dojo? Do you have any idea?"
-
She shakes her head no, but she seemed eager to learn by the look on her face.
-
"You see these names?" He pointed up, to the names etched into the tree "These are the names of the people that have Died."
-
She gets a gleam in her eyes, one of interest and sadness, and looks at the tree. She walks over to it, looking for a name.
-
There were tens of names, too many to count. Stripes. One of the names that was there, sounded rather odd for a person
-
Her ears flicked as she saw it. She used to know a werecat named Stripe. She continued looking, wondering if her brother's name was on the tree.

Athos, Portos. "Any thing specific you're looking for little lady?"
-
"Kari.." she said a little quietly. (Mari is a purebred werefox. But "little lady" works for her i guess. I think)
-
"Karishad? Is that who? Im hoping I have his name right. You must be... His sister?"
-
She nods. "Karishad...His name on t-tree?" she asked, her voice shaky and rough.
-
"Everyone's name is on the tree." He got to his feet, walking around it "It's on this side."
-
She followed him gingerly, looking for his name.
-
He placed his finger on the tree trunk. And sure enough, the name was there Karishad "Like i said. We all wind up here at some point."
-
She knelt by it, running her small hand over it. She found comfort in knowing it was there, something to remember Kari by.
-
"A grim reminder if anything..."
-
She shrugged, happy to see there was something for others to remember Kari by. Quincy had never managed to find out what Ian did with Kari's body, and Kari had nothing except for Mari.

"You know, Legends say that if your cut out the bark from the tree, you'll see their favorite quote on the back."
