"Do you think I don't know that!? I've been told that my entire life!" [b]Rook's tone of voice was getting harsher. He started pacing back and forth a bit faster. He had lowered the gun, but he still held it in his hand.[/b]

"Then why don't you fix it?"

"Fix it how!? I've tried medicine, it doesn't work. I've taken therapy, I've tried to fix my mind. But it keeps coming back, the torment just won't stop!"

"Maybe you let the torment in?"

"Maybe that is the case. But what am I supposed to do? I can't control every figment of thought that goes into my mind. And they always start talking, everyone of them, always bringing it back."

"So? I say listen to them! Listen to what they say."

"Listen to what they have to say!?" [b]Rook was shouting at this point.[/b] "I've had to listen to them all my life. I'd be dead if I didn't have the little bit of sanity trapped in the conflux of this torment!"

"Then quit complaining! You should be used to it!"

[b]Rook seemed furious, he looked at his sidearm in his hand, thinking about opening fire.[/b] "Get used to it!? Is that what I should do!? I can't fet used to something that has been terrorising my mind forever! I've nearly lost all the control of my pure right to think! I can't go to sleep because of them! And you think that I'll just snap out of it!?"

"Have you tried, just snapping out of it?"

[b]Rook quickly raised his sidearm at Watcher. He had nothing to say, he stood there silently, waiting to pull the trigger.[/b]

"Go ahead then. Let them fully consume you. Let them take all that you are."

[b]Rook stands silently. After a few moments Rook tries to talk, but can only mutter out a single word.[/b] "W-why?"

"You're the one pointing a gun at my head friend. I couldn't answer it if I tried."

"No, why do you want them to control me?"

[spoiler]Did you forget? [/spoiler] [b]Watcher simply looked down [/b] "Take me out. Go ahead, do it."

[b]Rook lowers his weapon, he turns around to walk away, unable to fire his weapon. He takes about two steps, when his AI can be heard yelling at him.[/b] [i]Rook, don't![/i] [b]Rook spins around, firing multiple shots at Watcher.[/b]

[b]Each of shots connect, but none of them go through His armour had stopped the advances, granted one of his ribs was definitely broken[/b] "Good work boy. Didn't think you had it in you."

[b]Rook stands motionless, not saying a word. He then drops his pistol, he falls to his knees. The blue light from his helmet is now off. Rook's AI now talks to Watcher.[/b] [i]Hey, you! You there! This was Rook's last failsafe, in a few seconds he will wake up but he has completely lost it. You can either run away, or you can end Rook's life. Your choice.[/i]

"End his life? Why would I do that! The boy is a natural he n Should be taught! Molded..."

"That's a damn shame." [b]Watcher got to his feet, drawing a red revolver. He pointed it at Rook's head [/b] [spoiler]Uh...? I'm asking for permission to kill him I guess.. [/spoiler]

[i]You better h...[/i] [b]Ion cuts down to static before he can finish his sentence. Rook's helmet turns back on, he quickly looks up. He swings for the gun to knock it away without saying a word.[/b]

[b]Watcher pulled the trigger, the hand hitting him a second to late as the bullet flew towards Rook... The Gun went in the air, everything was in slow motion it seemed. [/b]

[b]The bullet was lodged in the helmet, the visor was flickering on and off. Rook quickly got to his feet, stumbling from the gunshot. Rook's voice was now deeper and flickered with static, almost like a robot. However it sounded as if Rook was arguing his counterpart. [/b] "Bring it you -blam!-er!...I'll rip your eyes out you..." [u][i]"Silence, you shall never see the face of the earth again."[/i][/u] [b]Rook scrambled to pick up his shotgun. Barley able to aim.[/b] [u][i]"Well now, I'm sorry to you on the other side, for Rook is gone. And you are next."[/i][/u]
