Rooftop of an Apartment Complex, Dojoville[/u]
Splash lie awake. The night was unforgiving. A cold rain fell on her. Lightning streaks through the clouds in the sky above. Thunder rumbling like an avalanche. She shivered in her armor.
Lunar popped out of the shadows, "Sarah, you shouldn't be outside on a rooftop on a night like this."
"What shelter is there for me, Lunar?" She asked.
"I suggest sleeping--"
"There is no shelter for someone like me. I'm a shadow. A harbinger of sorrow. Would you provide shelter for the Darkness?"
"No."
"Exactly."
The lightning struck again. It struck a nearby antennae.

The rain around her turns to snow, and seems to drift away from her.
-
She got up, "What the--"
-
A small pair of green eyes peered at her from across the apartment roof. "You ok?" the person asked, not being visible in the dark and rain. He sounded quite young.

"I'm fine," She replied. She got up off her back, and looked around. "Where? Where are you?"
-
Lightning flashed and a five foot anthropomorphic arctic fox with radiant green eyes was standing across the roof from her. He was dressed in what looked like military pants and a grey windbreaker, wearing a scarf under the jacket. "Over here." he said after the light faded.

"Why?"
-
"Why what?"
-
"Why should I listen?"
-
"What? You asked me where I was an I answered...Im over here.." he said again, feeling confused.

"Who are you?" She turns around, drawing sword.

He jumps back, lighting flashing again as his figure was revealed once more. "Gyah! Dont hurt me!"

"What do you want?" She asked.
-
"I saw you all alone up here, in the rain...I felt bad I guess...Also, your the second Guardian i've met here...I can tell..." If Splash was able, she'd notice a blue blip on her tracker where he was standing.

She didn't have her helmet on, though. "Only the second?" She asked suspiciously.

He shrugs. "Yeah. Met a hunter out in the woods. Says he came here accidentally thanks to the Vex...Anyway...You'll get sick if you stay out here in the rain. I can't keep the rain around you as snow forever.."

"Vex. I was curious... stepped into a gate, wound up here. And a Hunter in the woods? So I'm not alone."

He shrugs. "No one's ever really alone.."

"Good point."
-
"So what are you doing up here of all places?"
-
"No shelter. I feel not exactly welcomed here."

"Well, we're on top of an apartment building....There's bound to be a few empty rooms."

"I guess I could..."
-
"C'mon...Im getting soaked." he said, walking to a fire escape.

"Okay." She runs to the fire escape.

(The antennae crackled and a man, previously hidden, was electrocuted and was blasted right onto the rooftop Luna was on.) "Ow! Fu*k!"
