"Oh gosh. Sounds worse than an orgre."
-
"It is. Much, much worse."
-
"So... why aren't you partying?"
-
"I would rather not. This is a day of remembering." "And boredom apparently."
-
"I can see how it is both. But I believe we must honor those we've lost."
-
"Perhaps. You are correct." "Perhaps she is."
-
"I will speculate on that later."
-
"Good." "Nathaniel, you may leave if you wish. But I will remain here." "Cool." Nathaniel got to his feet, and stretched
-
"Actually, I want to talk to Nathaniel for a moment," Splash said.
-
"Oh? Well then walk with me." He walked past her, and Kross simply stood there "Enjoy..."
-
She made sure she didn't fall behind as she walked with him. She felt a little nervous, and at this point she'd forgot what she was going to do. Or say.
-
"You alright." He turned his head back to look at her
-
When she realized she caught his attention she felt like she was melting like butter.
-
He stopped, waving his hand in front of her face "Heh, again?"
-
She slowly sunk to her knees. She was melting like butter, seemingly. She collapsed completely, lying on the ground.
-
Nathaniel knelt down, placing a hand on her neck and checking her pulse
-
She had a pulse. Just passed out from pure loss of nerve.
-
Nathaniel got to his feet, and laughed "Oh dear." He picked her up bridal style and carried her over to one of the benches where he set her down once more
-
She lie there, on the bench, dreaming.
-
He turned and began walking away, turning back to glance at her one last time
-
She snapped awake for one second, and caught his gaze.
-
He smiled and waved at her before continuing on
