[b]Royal spun the sword in his hand, stabbing at Kross, who met the blade halfway and sent it to the side.
Nathaniel attacked from behind, only for Kross to spin around and slash Nathaniel's arm, causing him to drop the blade.
Nathaniel took a step back, as did Royal [/b]
"Your reflexes have improved."
[i]"Indeed they have...." [/i]
[u]"But how?" [/u]
[b]Nathaniel picked up his blade and stepped away, speaking to himself as Royal shook Kross hand [/b]

Leather gauntlets were strapped around her hands, as her fingers carted around...[/i] [i]Holy shit.[/i] [i]The sound of metal scraping against the ground could be heard, as the girl literally drug a massive 7'8 foot long greatsword into the three's view, while a gladius was strapped to her waist. Yet, she didn't seem to pull it with any effort at all - it was if she found it easy.[/i] "Care to duel for a moment? Maybe I'll go after the Lord and the Dight afterwards, I dunno." [i]Although she was serious...the girl was also fairly happy as well. Seemed nice enough.[/i]

[b]The trio looked over at the girl that stood before them. Royal leader of the Dight spoke first[/b] "I'm sorry do i know you?' [b]Nathaniel, the Dragonslayer spoke next[/b] [u]"The better question is how she knows us."[/u]

"Nope, you don't know me. Maria Raidriar - Daughter of Death, Daughter of Rosegold, discoverer of the Aurum realm, destruction-class mage...you get the gist. And as for how I know you guys? Eh...I have my ways. I'm kidding, I'm kidding. I did my research. Let's see..." [i]Maria first turned to Royal.[/i] "Goes by many names, original is unknown...for now. Mostly goes by Royal, present within the Dojo for quite a bit now...known for shadow powers and all that nonsense." [i]Then, to Kross...[/i] "Kross, the Lord of Cinder, slayer of Pontiffs and Lords, wielder of Judgement and Flame. Also a blood manipulator and a poison manipulator too, right? Actually, that's the two swords...meh. And you!" [i]She said, pointing at Nathaniel.[/i] "Nathanial, daughter of the knight Ornstein and warlock Nora - your sister Olivia disappeared for a bit, she's incognito at the moment - I will find her, don't worry. I don't know much about you, but I demand a duel. Now!"

"Perhaps i should slit your throat..." [b]Kross finally spoke up[/b] [i]"Roy, take it easy. We can always ask Zora about her..."[/i] "Hmmrph." [u]"I accept your calling to this duel."[/u] [b]Nathaniel drew his mother's blade, Flame Heart.[/b]

"Perhaps I should eradicate you and your Hollow friend Anri, Kross. Should I? I'd be doing the world a favor, getting rid of Hollows. But never mind that..." [i]Maria said calmly, holding out the greatsword with ease, as she began charging straight towards Nathaniel. Each step taken, her grip upon the weapon's handle...she seemed to know what she was doing.[/i]

[b]Royal and Kross moved to the side, as Nathaniel met Maria halfway and their blades clashed.[/b]

[i]Since Maria's sword was probably about three feet longer, and much heavier - things didn't work out to Nathaniel's advantage. The clashing resulted in her overpowering him, as she immediately slammed her knee into his stomach.[/i] "Come on. Circle around me! You have a sword, I have a great sword - use speed to your advantage!"

[spoiler]Whoops didn't think that through, now did i? xD[/spoiler] [i]"She stole the words from my mouth."[/i] "He's arrogant Kross, still has much to learn." [u]"SHUT UP YOU TWO!"[/u] [b]Nathaniel stumble back, yelling at the two older warriors.[/b] "Use your speed!" [b]Nathaniel stood tall, rushing froward toward Maria[/b] "DAMN IT NATHANIEL!"

[spoiler]You good, lol.[/spoiler] "What the hell..." [i]Maria sighed - she decided against cleaving him in half. This wasn't far.[/i] [i]Immediately, she threw the massive blade to the side, where it lodged into the ground, and drew the gladius at her waist. Once more, she swung it to lock with Nathaniel, although she allowed him to push her back as the blades collided. Nodding, Maria's left hand balled into a fist, as she attempted to uppercut him.[/i]

[b]Maria could faintly see him smile, as he ducked to the side and underneath her arm, winding up behind her. He slashed at her back, followed by a pillar of flame erupting upwards a foot in front of her[/b] "A trick?" [i]"But how did he know she would-"[/i]

[i]Blood spurted out of Maria's back, before-[/i] [i]Suddenly, everything began again.[/i] [i]Maria had turned instantaneously, but...how? And more to the point? Her fist was less than an inch away from Nathaniel's face, as she yelled in fury.[/i] "[b][i]YOU MAGIC USING CHEAT! GODDAMN YOU!"[/i][/b]

[b]Nathaniel ducked, tripping over his own feet and falling to the ground on his chest[/b] "A tri- A time user..." [i]"Interesting."[/i]

[i]Maria then raised her hand as golden light surrounded it, aiming her palm at Nathaniel's head.[/i] [b][i]"I-I'm going to...to..."[/i][/b] [i]She stopped speaking for a moment, as a single bead of sweat formed upon the side of her face. After a moment, she lowered her arm, sighing and sitting down on the ground. She appeared to be trying to calm herself down.[/i] "One. Two. Three. Four. Breath in. Breath out. One. Two. Three. Four..."

[b]Nathaniel wearily sat up , watching Maria as he did so[/b] "Lady Maria? Are you alright?

"...Just had to calm myself for a moment. I...I have anger issues." [i]She sighed, picking herself up.[/i] "I-I'm sorry. For the time thing. I snapped, and I...shit."

[b]Nathaniel awkwardly placed a hand on her shoulder.[/b] " [u]Oh its fine. Seriously"[/u]

"It's not. I've hurt people. Bullies, teachers, random jackasses that talked trash. Some are still in the hospital. Nobody's died yet, but...I'm scared for when that'll happen. When I'll just...snap entirely." [i]Maria sighed quietly, looking up at Nathaniel.[/i] "...You want to continue? I wouldn't be surprised if you don't want to. My fault, I know.."
