[u]Strange Dreams: Broken God final hype train[/u]
Throughout the night the townsfolk and many of the warriors of Dojoville slept. To an outsider that was awake this day would seem to simply be another night but though the dreams, this night was something fairly strange. Warriors from all across the town found themselves in a strange dream they couldn't seem to escape. They were within the walls of an old worn castle with windows in the shape of hearts and torn red tapestry lining the walls.
It was the same for everyone. They stood in front of a door with no access to their ordinary powers and abilities and guards wearing strange armor with spades and hearts engraved into them standing to their sides seeming to be leading them to the door. Once the door had opened and they were inside there was a man sitting or rather laying on the throne seat. His face seemed to portray an interest in his guest as his guards kneeled in front of him.
"I wasn't expecting guests but welcome. Is this your first visit?"

[b]Kross nodded slightly as he took in his surroundings[/b] "Indeed it is. But I have heard many a tale of this place."

The one in the throne seat reposition himself upright. As he does it becomes noticeable that he had unusual hands underneath the gloves he was wearing. "Ah so you have heard of this place. By the way. One of them says you simply materialized in front of them. Usually the only one doing that is me. They didn't just happen to be nodding off were they?"

"No they weren't. I sort of appeared here as described."

"Strange but oh well" He waves his hand and the guards stand up, continuing on with their patrols. Chesh sighs looking slightly frustrated with how serious the guards acted. "They really don't know how to loosen up. The original ruler was a bit of a tyrant and a fan of decapitation but that was a while ago. Sorry I have a tendency to think out loud. So you just suddenly ended up here? Your not a resident are you?"

"No i am not, I come from a different world. Far from this." [b]He does a slight bow [/b] "Pardon me for not doing this earlier. I am Kross, Lord of Cinder." [b]He stood up straight [/b]

"It's alright, I'm not particularly strict for royalty. I'm Chesh, the king of hearts"

"King? Was there not a queen that ruled these lands?"

"A while ago there was a tyrannical queen that ruled the land of cards. She was killed some time ago and I took advantage of the lack of power at the time. I'm not much of a king but at least it hasn't been public executions on a daily basis"

"The bright side of things eh?" [b]Kross looked around [/b] "Land of Cards? Wonderland. All we're missing is Alice."

"The girl that slayed the jabberwocky. I wonder what ever happened to her. She was amusing. Vanished and hasn't returned."

[spoiler]How much of Alice's story would have happened?[/spoiler] "I heard stories of the mad girl who hated reality. quite the figurehead."

[spoiler]basically it takes place a while after alice offed the jabberwocky and the queen. Yeah alice was still nuts but they are all kind of like "Yeah she's wacko but at least she murdered crazy execution queen so she cool" kind of using a little of American Mcgee Alice too[/spoiler] "She was a bit of a maniac but the madness did at least kill off a crazy queen and a horrific monster. She did return another time after a house fire for a little while"

"Interesting woman. What brings me to this place of tricks? Surely i am not expected to be the next Alice. Savior of Wonderlands."

The thought seems to come off as kind of amusing to Chesh as he quietly snickers at the comment for a second. "Well a man welding a sword would be an interesting step up from a girl with years of therapy ahead of her. The only thing strange to happen is the occasional person from another land appearing in my castle and then vanishing back again after a while. Some are pretty entertaining when I tell them they are the chosen one."

"Then what reason do I have to be here?" [b]He straightened slightly. For a man that dressed like a Musketeer, he acted an awful lot like a Knight [/b]

"Well if I don't need you now and you don't know why your here, maybe you should just wake up and get on with your busy schedule. Your running a bit late you know" And with that the world suddenly vanished and reality seemingly rushed back as the sun of the morning shown in Dojoville. It could have easily been dismissed as a strange dream yet looking around it was as if a deck of cards exploded in Kross's room followed by a note saying "I'll be back for the cards, unless you decide to be back first"

[b]Kross sat up in bed, rising out of bed onto his feet and looking around at the mess. [/b] "There's a storm coming..." [spoiler]End?? [/spoiler]
