(DPS or captains) Black spindle can be used, but you're right about missing meaning that it's useless. But I rarely miss. I'm not trying to sound cocky, it's just that if the boss is staggering, I'm hitting crits. Hell, even in King's Fall, cocoon was rarely used. You used Touch of Malice or Black spindle.
