Sure.

We counted down to detonate the blights (the names also popped up saying we detonated the blights
Good for you. Someone was still late.
3. As already mentioned the death screen even said all 16 of the blights were detonated
As already mentioned, one of you was too slow to detonate. While the screen will count all bombs that show in the feed, any bomb that is still in the process of winding up after showing it has been detonated in the feed when the other bombs go off will not explode. It will be destroyed by the other bombs when they explode and not do any damage. But since the feed said detonated, it shows in the death screen as being... detonated.
-
Lol funny you should say that because if that were to be the case the guys on blights would have died before they were able to make it back into the safety of the aura but please do continue to say we were "late"
-
False. One was still late.
-
False. The game is buggy
-
How many times have you even done this raid?
-
According to my grimoire completions are 11 however it should be noted it doesn't count defeating the final boss on checkpoints as a completion
-
Keep that ratio in mind (completions is lower than actual final boss kills) when I tell you mine shows 67 completions. At least 40 of those were sherpa runs I did. Think about how many other people I just simply helped complete the challenge mode. I assure you. One person was late in their detonation.
-
Still doesn't explain how it only took away a quarter of his health
-
Well you said you got him down TO a quarter health. If that's the case, one person was late. 3 out of 4 people were on time. Hence, you did 3/4 damage. If you only did a quarter damage to him, the one person was early, thus his bombs destroyed everyone else's. 1 out of 4 sets of explosions, meaning you did 1/4 damage. Either way, no bug, no glitch, just poor timing.
-
If I did say that well then I meant to say only took away quarter health so that's my bad. Upon blight detonation every single one of the blights were said to be detonated before we went back into the aura. As in one name popped up for every four blights. This method of detonation has always worked for me in the past so it doesn't make sense for it not to work now as the actual mechanics of the raid haven't been altered.
-
I know. I already explained how one could make it back before dying and still lose their bombs and still show in the feed. Now, all that's changed with the statement of how much damage you did is that instead of one person being late, it was one person being early.
-
Perhaps the clarity of the situation would help here. Its the fourth round. Oryx slams runner gets on and people on plates get on in quick succession. Guys on ogres drop them like flies. Guys on plates have taken care of knights. We all head to center to stagger Oyrx. He staggers. We quickly head to outside of out blights. I say go they all went in. My name pops up then immediately after three other names pop up saying blights have been detonated. We head back to mid to continue shooting Oryx (guys in mid were already shooting him though). Damage is dealt with only a quarter health taken away. After wiping in frustration death screen says all 16 blights were detonated. I ran it the same way I always have on Oryx challenge. I don't know how we could have been any closer in time. This is way I say it bugged on us.

Yes, I know how the encounter goes, thank you. SIXTY... SEVEN... COMPLETIONS... I don't need a walkthrough of the battle. I already have all the info needed to give you an answer. Your bombs went off too early compared to the other people's, so only yours actually did damage. I promise you.
-
Sorry I didn't mean to lecture but the point of the rant was to say that it was the game that messed up when it only dealt a quarter damage because the fact remains that me and the person across from me got on at the same time. That much I know for a fact and because my name was the first to pop up and at the same time so did his. Thanks for giving me your input on this but I firmly believe that the game messed up.
-
And I firmly disagree, as I have seen my share of what that raid is capable of doing. Good day.

Edited by NobodyJustBrad: 1/19/2017 7:13:20 PMFalse. This is user error. If one person steps in their bombs about 2-3 seconds after everyone else, they have time during the 5 seconds between "detonation" (in the feed) and the actual explosion to make it back to center. But their bombs will be destroyed before they can explode. They can live and still have been late.
