"Canon get down!"
[b]Watcher sprinted out of cover and pushed Canon to the ground as a single, powerful laser hit Watch in the chest and sent him flying into the wall.
There was a gaping hole in Watcher's chest, and Cannon was on the ground.
In the time of the moment, the guard peaked out of cover, gunning down the enemy [/b]

Cannon sprints to Watchers side. "You idiot! You shouldn't have done that!" He pulls out his medical kit and assesses the wound.

[b]A small circular wound, in the middle of his chest. Much like Tony Stark's core. [/b] "And what if it..... Hit you?.... If you died???... Nah." [b]He coughed, blood splattering the inside of his helmet [/b]

"My armor would have taken it. Yours obviously couldn't." He presses a wad of bacta gauze into the wound.

"Nah. See this...." [b]He weakly pointed at his armor, which seemed melted [/b] "It was a heated energy round. Maybe... Not kill you.... But hurt you... Badly.... '" [b]He coughed, his head hitting the wall behind him as he groaned [/b]

"My armor has taken lightsabers. I would have been fine. Hold still." He injects bacta into the injury, the healing fluid helping his wound regenerate.

"Heh, not sure about... Ah!" [b]He yelped at the Sudden Injection and looked at his chest [/b] "The hell?"

"Bacta. It'll speed up the healing process. It's already clotting."

"Heh, really? Great guess I'm going to live."

Cannon nods. "Of course you are. You think I'd let you die? Thatvwpuld look horrible on ny resumè."

"Resumé? What are you applying for?) [b]Watcher chuckled grimly [/b]

"That was a joke, my friend." He finishes patching him up. "You should be fine, at least for now."

[b]The dojo guards jogged up to us, weapons raised. They slowly lowered them as they saw that there were no more enemies. [/b] "We're clear guys."

Cannon helps Watcher stand up. "Where are the wrest of your platoon?"

[i]"Deeper inside. We set up camp to investigate some of the resources when we were attacked." [/i] [b]Watcher looked over at the cover that the guards had been using. Metallic crates, rocks that were sticking out. He spotted five more Dead guards, with eight that were alive speaking to Cannon and Watcher.[/b] [spoiler]Potential Lives Saved: 33/43 Be aware that some are impossible to save. The first five we found for example [/spoiler]

"Who attacked you?" He asks, gesturing at the dead attackers.

[i]"Don't know much about them sir. Besides that they call themselves 'The Known, Unknown.'[/i] "The Known Unknown? What the?" [i]"I know sir. Sargeant Marker should know more." [/i]

Cannon moves to investigate the bodies to see what he can learn.

[b]The bodies of the dojo guards were similar to others, bullet holes. The bodies of the unknown had scorch marks, and bullets holes. It seemed old and used. Like a handy me down [/b]

"Interesting..." Cannon turns to the head guard. "Can you take us to the others?"

[b]He nodded and turned, leading us deeper into the cave. We approached a strange man-made door and he knocked The Door opened and the guard entered, Watcher following inside [/b]

Cannon steps in after them.

[b]The door leads to a large open space, very well lit up and with several other doorways along the walls. There are crates, sleeping bags, a makeshift machine gun nest along with a closet of sorts, full of weapons In the middle, is a table covered by a map with a man standing over it, looking down at the map. "What's the situation, Sergeant?" Cannon asks him, glancing at the map.

[i]"The situation is this, we've been trapped down here the last few days. The Unknown as they call themselves have set up barricades at the these doors." [/i] [b]He turned and pointed at two in the back[/b] [i]"So we can't get out that way. The door you guys came through was protected, and weren't able to get out. Now that you've cleared the way, they'll be getting reinforcements over there ASAP. So we're left with two options. This door." [/i] [b]He pointed at one on the right hand wall [/b] [i]"Or this one." [/i] [b]He pointed at a second [/b]

Cannon seems to think for a moment. "Do we know what's behind them?"
