[spoiler]it's also possible that he has different poisons, like paralysis, or death. Maybe use paralysis potion for Ruby, then death for Qrow. Or, could be the amount injected as well. Idk though, just a theory[/spoiler]

[spoiler]He's got a good point though. He tried to use his tail on ruby, meaning it probably is a paralysis or it would knock her out. I doubt he would have multiple venoms, and even if he has venom, it may not be in Qrow at all. He wasn't stung, only scathed. The venom may not have entered his body, but a wound like that would still hurt. I doubt he will die. At least, it will be a long time. [/spoiler]
