The Spartan moves to follow it, his rifle held at the ready. "Do you read anything, Lincoln?" He asks his AI companion. The green UNSC Smart AI moves to scan the system. "Give me a moment..."

[i]As he followed the trail, two holographic projections seemed to follow the path he was in. They seemed to be talking about... Something, but there was no audio to project what they were saying.[/i]

"Lincoln, scan their faces and match their lip movements. Find out what they're saying." He orders. "Yes Spartan."

[i]The scientists suddenly turn their heads, digitised parts of the building crumpling from above. They turn towards the original direction they were heading in, and started running down the corridor, then through a door that led to some stairs. [/i] [i]It wasn't real, but it was for the holographic projections. Groups of scientists started rushing towards the path he was taking, passing through him like he wasn't there. It was clear that something went down, and was more apparent from the mess he saw outside before.[/i]
