It barked twice. The Deity felt a chill. It wasn't an actual temperature change. It was as if his brain had made him feel it. He heard a voice. It was calm, collected. But it was chilling. To the bone.
"Good night..."
He suddenly felt terrified. Like something terrible that didn't belong was there.
"Sleep tight..."
The terror gave way to dread. He could now tell the voice was masculine. It sounded manic.
"Don't let the..."
The feeling of dread grew. He could barely bear it.
"Dead Bite."
A chilling laugh was heard, then a figure appeared behind the dog. It smelled of rot. Like death. The first thing he noticed was the mask. It looked like it was two masks plastered together. One half was black, featureless. The other half was a dark grey, an insane smile on it. It had a hateful eye, red and glowing. It had cracks all over the mask. It was bleeding profusely from its exposed eye. The second thing he noticed was the bandana that was tied around its neck. It had a city's skyline, that being in white. The base of the bandana was black, and an anarchy symbol ran through the city. It's body was like black sticks coming from a black base, narrowing down to the legs. It had a blue three on its right shoulder, and its legs were covered in a golden chainmail. Behind its mask, it smiled. It spoke again.
"Why hello there..."
This time, its voice was a deep baritone, but it had one fault. It sounded like the thing was choking on some sort of liquid.
"It seems you have found us... We that started all of this... On accident, of course."
