The two took cover behind a boulder. "Okay! Idea!" "What's the idea princess?!" "Well we have to make our way to the path. So I can use my Twilight control to get us to that path and so we can make our way up the plateau! The zombies can't hurt us when we are inside!" "Well it seems like the only shit we got! Let's roll!" Anne stood up, and a large dark radius of twilight surrounded her and the deity. The Bullets that entered the twilight did nothing to its inhabitants, and the two began to sprint down the edge of the village and towards the path, which lead up to the legion camp....

[b]Well you just made this very boring. Bastard. It's gonna take them a few replies to get there, time to get the popcorn. Zombies tried to grab them as they passed, though they weren't as thick in this part of town.[/b]

Don't worry, the twilight control only has so much time before: The twilight control faded as the two reached the path. "Oh boy....looks like we're out of cover from here on out." "Great...hey, did you ever think about us making it BACK to the dojo after this?" Anne looked confused for a moment. She blanked out as she stared at the deity, who face palmed. "That's just...that's just great."

[b]The path was still a five-mile path, thick with zombies. They shot at them, some with high-powered, explosive rifle rounds. Some zombies tried to grab them.[/b]

Anne quickly fired rounds at the undead as the deity cleaved those who grappled them in two with his massive blade. They used the cliff face for cover from the bullets as they continued their ascent. The deity taking care of the zombies that came close while Anne took the ranged zombies from afar....

[b]As they rushed them as they had already tried, they were promptly grabbed and chomped. Seriously dude, there's waaaaay to many zombies around to just cut in half with your sword. Make a plan.[/b]

The two respawned at the bonfire at the bottom of the path. Anne: "why don't we climb the wall?" "Climb the...how?!" "Hands! Obviously!" "Hands?!" "And swords! This is gunna work I swear!" "Fine...." The two rushed towards the wall, and immediately began to climb up the mountain....

Anne tossed the deity four of her thermal grenades, and she had another 5. The deity tossed one of the grenades into the densest part of the crowd....

[b]No but the Legate is. A zombie Legate stood right at the gates, and shot at them with his gauss rifle.[/b]

The two of them rolled out of the way, and Deity threw his last thermal at the legate, which stuck to his body and wouldn't let go....

[b]It exploded, and knocked him backwards, stripping the armor from most of his chest. His armor was the fûcking strong. He shot at them again.[/b]

The two kept strafing out of his sights, as Anne fired at his bare chest with her flaming armour piercing rounds....

Anne decided to end the monotony of this boss battle, and dodged the shots again. She fired at the zombies skull, blowing off its face and making it pudding.
