As he wandered the place, he could hear a shrill breathing around the corner. There was also the shuffling of footsteps, and the scraping of a blade against metal.

Edited by Nox: 12/23/2016 12:35:35 AM"I fuсkin' knew it. I fuсkin' knew this shit would take a horror moveh turn." He grabbed Amber off his left hip using his left hand while sticking his right one out so the flame could illuminate the area further away from him. He also stuck his left arm out, shotgun pointing forwards as he continued to move.

A low droning could be heard from around the corner, then a distinct buzzing. Then it came around the corner. It was humanoid, but it had something disturbing to it. A sort of creature, with it's right arm as a talon blade of sorts, had it's red eyes lock into Jason's eyes. The buzzing noise seemed to come from the arm, which definitely meant that it had something similar to a chainsaw. The creature that seemed to be composed out of shadow let out a shrill, ear-ringing shriek and started to bounce around the corridors to get to Jason.

Edited by Nox: 12/23/2016 12:55:31 AM"Oh, no, a chainsaw. How terrifyin'. Bitch, please." Jason kept calm, his breathing slow and steady as he waited for the creature to get close before he'd fill it with explosive slugs. Four round burst and it was naptime. A grin crept onto the man's visage. A wicked grin. A grin that spoke novels about how much he was going to enjoy this. The barrel of Amber kept pointed at the thing, finger itching on the trigger, though not quite pressuring it yet. Not just yet, not just yet. Soon enough, though. Soon enough.

It started to get close enough to where it stopped on the wall for a split-second and started to lunge out. Should be suitable time for him to fire his shotgun.
-
He waited for a few more moments, just to ensure it'd take the full blast, before finally ramming the trigger in, firing four gunpowder filled steel slugs in rapid succession, the gun kicking only ever so very slightly.

The creature was knocked back a ton, hitting the wall. It was hurt, but it still tried to get up, giving that shrill shriek again. Might be a good time to blast it's head off.
-
Then, each of the four slugs went and blew up, sending hot shrapnel into the creature - not to mention the explosions themselves. Jason smirked just a little, remaining right where he was. Certainly, it wasn't getting back up.

When the dust cleared, the creature's remains were just shadows on the wall. They seemed to fade away, giving into the darkness. More might be around the corner, though.

Edited by Nibber Schipper: 12/24/2016 2:59:14 PMAnd Jason had plenty more rounds. The Russian pressed on into the darkness, still holding his right hand out in front of him, the flame illuminating his path, shadows dancing across his armour.

As he was traversing through the dark corridors, there seemed to be a room to his left, with what seemed to be broken bacta or containment tanks in it judging from what he sees through the window. The door that led to it was being shaken on by a creature on the other side.
-
Now, Jason being the manly man he was, albeit a bit stupid, moved towards the door. He raised his right foot, bending out upwards so his sole was facing the the door, knee bent. "Suggest gettin' da fuсk outta da way," He said with a grin, before giving the door one helluva kick. It wasn't quite as strong as his cybernetic arm, seeing how it was organic, but it still packed a punch, with the whole exo suit thing.

A creature got knocked back with the door, hitting the wall. It quickly got back up, looking around and becoming a sort of mist and going into one of the cupboards. Seems like there are a lot of unique experiments in this place.
