Desmond looked downwards at the young woman, seemingly bored and uninteresting. All though she did walk with a certain kind of demeanor that not everyone possessed..it was enough to make him take note, anyway.
What, gonna go say hello? Don't you have enough women troubles, you incessant idiot?
The Ka'kari spoke in Desmond's head, earning a low growl from Desmond himself. The damn thing really knew how to press buttons. Then again, he supposed it would when it knew his every thought and feeling.
I didn't plan on it, but now I'm going to, out of sheer curiosity.
Desmond dipped his hand down to the rooftop and picked up a small stone amongst the loose gravel, throwing it downwards at a nearby tree the girl was standing next to.
Is this how you greet women? Throwing stones at them?
Shut up.

-The voice was different yet similar, the tone setting off another wave of pain through Ammourette's head. She gasped and put a hand to her head, staring back with crimson eyes.- I.... I... -She couldn't form a rational thought, it was as if something was screaming at her to recognize who stood before her but she was unable.- Have you come to kill me...? -She finally sputtered, her katana still gripped tightly in hand.-

Edited by Will: 12/29/2016 9:48:46 PM"No..no I haven't." The man reaches up and pulls the hood off of his head, revealing his face. He was beyond handsome, his face all sharp angles and rugged features. He had medium length chocolate brown hair, with a lock of it falling over his face. His eyes though..they were an icy blue, frozen with grief and sorrow, yet blazed with rage. Those eyes had an untold amount of stories behind them.. A sad little smile crossed his lips, upturning the corners ever so slightly, but he said nothing more, merely glancing at her once, up and down before resting those frozen eyes on her crimson ones. -Ammourette tackled him, wrapping her arms around him in a big hug. Her face buried in his chest hiding tears, her tiny frame shaking, she was crying.- I remember you... Lance. -Memories of Terra played in her mind, how could she forget this man. The noble swordsman she met all that time ago.-
-
He laughs softly and smiles, wrapping his arms around her gently and hugging her. "Good.. I might have been insulted if you hadn't." The same cheeky humor was still there. Same old Lance. He doesn't say anything, just letting her weep into his chest quietly, holding her against him.

I'm sorry... I'm so so sorry. -She sobbed into his chest.- I didn't have control over my own actions. I was like a prisoner in my mind, forced to watch as i... -She whimpered softly not loosening up on her embrace, it had been so long since she'd seen a friendly face.-

''I know.. you don't have to apologize. I understand.'' Lance held her tightly, feeling her tears dampen his t-shirt, but didn't let her go. To think.. he'd almost killed her because he'd thought she was beyond saving.. ''Are you okay?'' He asks over her shoulder, his arms still wrapped around her. Ammourette was one of the kindest souls he'd ever met. The world needed more people like her, and he was so, so happy she was back. Even he didn't show it..that wasn't his way.
