[i]Plastic explosive. Multiple fire teams must have scoured the place for some reason. As he went inside the once protective walls that guarded the building, a metal plaque was seen at the entrance. It was faded long since, the text unreadable.[/i]

(He took note, and continued into the building)

[i]As he made his way inside the building, he was immediately met with the front reception desk. It was riddled with bullet holes, a sign of an invasion. A device sat on the desk, waiting to be picked up.[/i]

(He checked it for any dangerous substances, and, if they were none, picked it up.)

[i]As soon as he picked it up, a holographic line was laid out. It went to the right, then took a turn left down a corridor. Some kind of map this is.[/i]

(He carefully followed the map)

(He carried on)

[i]The scientists suddenly turn their heads, digitised parts of the building crumpling from above. They turn towards the original direction they were heading in, and started running down the corridor, then through a door that led to some stairs. [/i] [i]It wasn't real, but it was for the holographic projections. Groups of scientists started rushing towards the path he was taking, passing through him like he wasn't there. It was clear that something went down, and was more apparent from the mess he saw outside before.[/i]

(He followed then m again)

[i]Going down the stairs, It lead to a door that was sealed tight, judging from the metal locks on there. Jason could feel presences past the door, strangely.[/i]

(He checked for heat signitures behind it)

[i]There were none, strangely enough.[/i]

(He checked for electromagnetic signitures)

[i]Absolutely none.[/i]

(He slowly opened the door,gun raised,being sure to check for movements)

[i]The door opened with a clank as it swung open. Nothing else though, as it echoed throughout the empty corridor. It was kinda dark in there, so a light source may be needed.[/i]

[i]What he saw was a grey corridor, and a light that was flickering.[/i]

(He slowly and carefully made his way down the corridor)

[i]The faint sound of steps were around the corridor.[/i]

(He stopped, to see if they were his)

[i]They weren't. Something was obviously there. They stopped right as they were about to turn, though.[/i]

(He slowly followed the footsteps, unsure whether to be intrigued or worried)

[i]The footsteps were retreating rapidly.[/i]

(He quickened his pace)
