What is #gaming's Game of the Year?

This isn't a vote. I'm curious to know what each of you thinks was the best new game released this year. That excludes remakes, remasters, ports, whatever. Personally, I had the most fun with Overwatch. Haven't enjoyed a competitive multiplayer-focused shooter this much since... probably Left 4 Dead. You?
If it were a vote, TF2 would win with 28 votes so far, and Overwatch a close second on 24. Like I said, though, not a vote - if gaming were a democracy, FIFA/Madden or Call of Duty would win all the time.
Considering the only reason I stop playing Dark Souls 3 is because someone really wants to play together on another game, I have to give it to DS3.
