"I was always in war actually. My father was a general before he owned WM Corp. I was raised to fight and did when I was of age. Iso knows me as a writer and poet because I was part of a special forces division that had to be kept secret. Sure, Iso and Charlotte had a normal childhood, but Chuck and I are in the same boat as you."

He smiles. "That sounds like fun. What movie?"

"Lion King! I've never seen it, so no spoilers!" [i]Iso giggles.[/i]

"I've never seen it either. Sounds fun." The man in skeleton armor clears his throat loudly. "Ad'ika, aren't you going to introduce me to your friend?" He removes his helmet to reveal a bald head and graying beard.

[i]Iso waves to the man. She's still sitting on Cannon in an inappropriate fashion.[/i] "Hello, sir!"

"Hello lass. My name's Shames. I'm guessing you're Isorropia?" He asks.

[i]Iso nods.[/i] "Yes, I am! How'd you know?! Are you a wizard?"

He laughs at how close that is. "Not quite. Cannon's told me a lot about you." Cannon smiles, his face going even darker red. "Iso, meet my dad, Shames. Shames, this is my girlfriend Iso."

[i]Iso's face freezes.[/i] "Th-This is your dad?"

"Yup." He rests his head on the floor, looking upside down at Shames. "Ah, lad. You say that like it's a bad thing. It's nice to finally meet you, Iso."

[i]Iso gets off Cannon in a flash, dusts herself off, and attempts to fix her hair.[/i] "I-I'm sorry for my appearance and behavior, Shames!" [i]Iso stumbles around trying straighten herself out.[/i]

He raises a hand. "Nothing to worry about, I'm not exactly looking my best either." From the looks of it, he'd suffered through the riot gas as well. His beard also needs coming. Cannon slowly stands up, grunting in pain when he puts weight on his left leg.

[i]Iso bows deeply.[/i] "No! I know, I should be acting more lady like. No excuses. Forgive me for what I've done?"

Cannon holds back a laugh as Shames shakes his head. "You're forgiven. No need to bow, I don't outrank you or anything like that." He smiles kindly at her.

[i]Iso keeps bowing.[/i] "What is my punishment, sir?"

"Punishment? Lass, you didn't do anything wrong. Even if you did, I don't outrank you since you're not part of the clan." Then glancing at Cannon he adds. "Yet." Cannon blushes and coughs awkwardly.

[i]Iso gets up and nervously laughs.[/i] "Oh yeah, sorry. Sometimes I forget I'm not back home as royalty."

"Royalty? Cannon didn't mention that one." Cannon is trying to melt into the floor.

[i]Iso rubs her neck and crosses her legs in embarassment.[/i] "Y-Yeah, but I'm not anymore..."

Cannon moves to put a hand on her shoulder. "Oh. I didn't mean to bring up any unpleasant memories. My apologies." Shames says.

[i]Iso shakes her head 'no' quickly.[/i] "No no! It's just...embarassing."

"Again, my apologies." His comlink buzzes. "Ah, I should get going. The troops need to be supervised while they unload." Cannon immediantly turns to follow, stopping as Shames shakes his head. "You take it easy, lad. You've earned some rest." He turns to walk out.

[i]Iso waves to Shames.[/i] "It was a pleasure to meet you, sir!"

"At you as well, miss Isorropia." He dons his helmet and heads out. Cannon smiles. "I think he likes you."

[i]Iso slaps Cannon again.[/i] "Why didn't you tell me that was your father earlier?! He thinks I'm a train wreck now!"

Cannon winces, rubbing his sore face. "Was a bit busy getting my face smashed. And I'm not joking, I think he likes you."
