Out of the cracks came blue flame, and then, from the center of the circle outward, fire erupted from the earth, producing a pillar of flame at the heat of the sun. It lasted a few moments, then dissipated, leaving the Eternal Crusader kneeling in a crater. He stood, searching the surrounding area for any sign of the young man.[/i]
