Most people he had known, despite their normal exteriors, were often about as far from normal as they could get, they were unique in a good way.[/i]

[u]Well, that's true.[/u] James liked Watcher. He could trust him, they did grow up in similar manners. Considering they were both thieves and sneaks and they were both pretty young, James thought that they could be good friends eventually.

[i]With that, Watcher turned on his heel, and headed for the stairs, briefly jogging and then sliding in his socks to the bottom of the staircase. He headed up fairly quickly, disappearing onto the second floor. After a moment, his head poked around the corner from the top. [/i] "If you wanna come up, you're welcome to." [i]He said, rather awkwardly.[/i]

[i]The staircase was wooden, polished, and likely old. After ascending it, James came to a whole second story that looked to be a comfortable living space. There was a small kitchen and dining room, a TV room, and then two rooms that appeared to be bedrooms. One was locked, the other was open, the door pushed back. Music was coming from inside, an old Nirvana song. Watcher was likely in there.[/i]

James looked around in awe. [i]Well holy shit, it's a house.[/i] As James walked into the bedroom, he listened to the music. [u]Is that Smells Like Teen Spirit?[/u] [i]Wait just a second, I've never heard music in my life. How'd I know that? Even if that isn't the song, how did I know a song name?[/i]

"Nah, "Come as You Are." Same band, though." [i]Watcher said from inside his room. The room was fairly large, but it was a mess. His desk was littered with mechanical and electronic parts, and his armor stood in a stand surrounded by parts. The drawers in the dresser next to his bed, however, were organized neatly. Empty Gatorade bottles lined its top, along with plenty of tools. Blueprints and design drawings were scattered across his unmade bed. The music came from a speaker on top of a shelf above his dresser. Watcher himself was seated in a rolling office chair, a pencil tucked behind his ear.[/i]

[u]Im still amazed a know an actual song name...[/u] James looked around at the bedroom and noticed it was a mess. [i]I guess Watcher is probably some sort of engineer. That would explain the whole suit and everything.[/i] [u]Nice place[/u]

"Yeah... sure.... it's a mess, if anything." [i]He said, smiling.[/i] "Been busy working lately. Spend a lot of time doing mechanical stuff."

"Valid point." [i]He said, wheeling over to his dresser to grab a part, and then wheeling back to his desk. Setting it down, he looked to what he had for a moment, lost in thought.[/i] "Kinda weird having someone else up here. Usually it's just me." [i]He mused.[/i]

[u]I've got the perfect analogy, you're like Iron Man. He's a super hero but he only has a suit.[/u] James laughed. He looked around at the messy place. If he had a room, it would be like this.

"Heard that one before." [i]He said with a sigh.[/i] "At least I don't need an arc reactor in my chest." [i]He cracked a weak smile.[/i]

[u]"True, true. Also, you're not a rich old guy either. At least, not that I know of."[/u] James attempted to say seriously, but halfway through he gave up and laughed.

"Well, I mean, last time I checked I wasn't, unless that's changed between now and then." [i]He said, smirking.[/i]

"Doesn't appear to have." James appeared to have been distracted [spoiler]Sorry for the hiatus... my bad.[/spoiler]

[spoiler]All good fam[/spoiler] [i]Watcher took the slight pause in the conversation as a chance to do something. He wheeled himself back over to his desk, where he wrote something down quickly on a sticky note, before he picked up a small device, and wheeled over to his armor set.[/i]
