Virtual Reality - Unknown Time The shapeless rift of the VR room stood endlessly still, it's pitch black walls expanding outwards for hundreds, maybe thousands of miles in its vast void. Not one being was within it, so this was its standard, natural state - just waiting for a sentient being to activate it, and choose a location for an upcoming battle. When suddenly, the walls, flooring and ceiling shifted and changed suddenly, the very room transforming...into something much, much more different than before. Cairo, Egypt - 1989 The nighttime lights that brightened the Cairo night lined the streets of the Egyptian city, the stores and shops of the town closing down for the night as the entirety of the roads were cleared. Still, older cars and trucks lined the sides of the streets, while a few civilians patrolled the sidewalks, cigarettes and newspapers clenched within their hands as the wind rustled through the streets and city. All was silent, until the two arrived, at the spot where the journey of the six they had studied had ended for good, their role in this world fulfilled. As if suddenly revealing themselves within the city, two figures suddenly appeared in the middle of one of the city's streets; both human, one being a male and the other, a female. The man stood at a height of 5'10, his body a surprising thin, compared to most of the Dojo's members. A buttoned up black shirt hid away his frail body, the pair of navy blue jeans that he wore tightened by a dark leather belt, dirtied and previously tan dress shoes upon his feet. The young man appeared to be between eighteen or twenty-one, with a sharp angular facial structure and jawline, alongside a pale, yet friendly face. Covering the boy's deep, peaceful brown eyes were bits of shaggy dark hair, engulfing his face in a messy - yet oddly likable manner. A smile was upon his face, as if he was indeed a joyful person. As for the woman...she was similar, yet different in several ways as well. Standing at the sane height as her male partner, or 5'10, the woman had a similar body frame, although she had an hourglass-shaped body and seemed much more athletic than her counterpart. Her clothing consisted of a bright white coat that was draped over her body, styled in an old British manner, with tints of velvet red fabric and a handkerchief protruding from the neckpiece present. Deep steel grey fabric leggings could be seen upon her to serve as pants, while a pair of light grey combat boots protected her feet, the surface shined and polished to an unnatural amount. Her oval-shaped face was pale and expressionless, cold and emotionless as if she was prepared for anything that came, steel-colored eyes scanning the area in front of the two. Her light silver hair was tied in a bonnet, the hair gleaming slightly in the darkness of the night, illuminating it with its very presence. One odd thing about both of them is that they had both went into a virtual simulation with no weapons: no firearms, no melee weapons...and they didn't seem like the type to fist-fight anyone. The male of the two spoke first, in a light yet casual tone. Yet, he also seemed as if he was...a troubled young man, to say the least. "So this is where the great DIO was killed...by your guy, what's-his-face." "Jotaro Kujo, the grandson of Joseph Joestar, Travis. And do not forget, Noriaki Kakyoin was slain here as well as DIO." The woman immediately replied with a quiet, monotone-like voice, like a recording. Yet she also seemed to have tried to remain exceptionally polite to the boy, although she was much more interested in their current location. "Yeah yeah, whatever." The young man replied quickly, a smirk played upon his face. "But why are we here, Sarah? I mean - people don't care about shit that happened on Ear-" "Language, Travis." Sarah, once again, responded in her typical tone of voice, yet she had a very faint smile upon her face. Clearly, she didn't mean it the warning too much at all. "I thought we could at least draw in some people to combat, perhaps see just how deadly One Vision to get. I've practiced for months, just for this place, this...Dojo." "Months, Sarah? Jeez. Now I remember - we haven't seen each other since May! Holy hell, it HAS been a while! So...when they comin'?" "...Soon." Was all that Sarah replied with, as the virtual reality had drug in something else...someone else, in particular. ((Open for combat, and an introduction for Sarah/One Vision and Travis/Due Time.)) ((I'd prefer some 2v2 fights, lol.)) ((Their bios are...exceptionally vague, and for a reason, too. Just so you guys know.)) ((Link to Biographies: Sarah/One Vision - https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/219284791/0/0/1 Travis/Due Time - https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/219313455/0/0/1

  • "Ah, you wish to not get your hands dirty? Much like the Sidhe. Ah well." Shadow flicks her hand and her sword wrenches out of the ground. She grabs it by the hilt as a deep green mist begins to seep from the bone blade. A flicker runs over her body, but fades away as fast as it appeared. "A warning to you, things are not always as they seem."

"Indeed, they are not. Perhaps you are merely an amateur with a blade, perhaps a master. Though I would believe that you are the latter." Sarah began to quietly approach, as One Vision kept its rapier held up high. It was preparing for Shadow to attack, its eyes locked upon her.

  • Shadow also began to walk forwards, but as her first step lands, another Shadow steps to the side and begins to walk to Shadow's left. An identical grin on their faces, they lift their 6-ft swords over their shoulders with ease. "I decided that it would be-" "Fair to you if we split."

"Mm." One Vision let out a slight "Kettō", which was Japanese for duel, as its bright blue eyes locked onto the two Shadow's. It could tell which was the original, and which was the secondary - that was its ability: to be able to locate and pinpoint any enemy, any weakness, any advantage that it could take. Practically aimbot.

  •
Ah, nice. Finally someone who gives me a challenge!!!
Both Shadows grin at their respective opponents. One Vision sees that the Shadow approaching itself appears to be linked to the right Shadow somehow. R-Shadow forms bat-like wings made of shadows, spreading them out to form an imposing figure. Cackling, she takes to the air. L-Shadow smirks at One as tendrils begin to grow out of her back. She leaps forwards at One, slashing at it's waist.

While still locked onto the Shadow that had taken flight, One Vision leaped backwards as the slash came, immediately leaping forwards after the attack. "Kettō!" The Stand suddenly began thrusting its rapier into the version of Shadow with all of its strength, whereas it became a literal blur - it was moving much too fast for a regular Stand.

  • L-Shadow blurred as it flicks away the rapier with her own sword, spinning in place. Its tendrils lash out and slam into One Vision, sending it flying to Shadow's left. R-Shadow swoops down at Sarah, her sword extended.
Not going to question how you are completely immune to a thrusting sword moving at 300 MPH non-stop, but k.
The tendrils merely collided with One Vision's armor, denting its armor slightly. It slid across the ground, immediately heading towards its master. Sarah would only wait, before jolting suddenly to her left with surprising ability. For a human - she was extremely agile.

  • "Ah, Jotaro." Came from the guest, metal boots tapping on the stones that made the streets of Egypt's capital. Cairo. At least, I think it's the capital. The newcomer was tall, wide, muscular. He stood at six feet and five inches, a little over two meters, the armour boosting his height a tiny bit.. Though, that wasn't the only interesting thing. He looked exactly like Joseph Joestar, his facial structure being the same exact as the old man's. He had a well kept, grey beard, as well as a a pair of bushy grey eyebrows. Atop his head was his fairly lengthy grey hair, which waved lightly in the breeze. Two green eyes peered at the two young Stand Users, slowly looking from Travis to Sarah. "I.. miss that trip, at times." He eventually said, stopping about seven feet away. Jaso- Joseph grinned, remembering the events that had transpired so long ago. Sure, it had its ups and downs, with Kakyoin and Avdol dying, but it was fun, too.

The female of the two, Sarah - she immediately jolted to face the figure, her pale face becoming even paler as her steel eyes locked upon his body, his face, the eyes...they all matched the description of the man she was searching for. The OG Bro, the chillest of 'em all. Broseph Brostar. "...J-Joseph? Is that actually...you? ...Show me Hermit Purple. So I can know. Please." The Polnareff wannabe spoke calmly, while the druggie only stood watching silently, which was beyond odd for the likes of him. Now - Jason was in virtual reality, so he could technically recreate Hermit Purple and its effects. Just sayin'.

  • "Hmm," The fake softly uttered as he curiously looked down at Sarah. He didn't know who she was or how she knew, but he'd go along with it - he was being an absolute cuck, after all. Joseph slowly nodded, taking a few steps back, right hand closing and opening a few times. He knew what the capabilities of this simulation were, and he was definitely going to take advantage. "HERMIT PURPLE," He dramatically yelled out, purple vines sprouting from his right hand as he did a JoJo's Bizarre Adventure pose. After a few moments, he straightened himself, right hand closing into a fist as he kept it to his chest. Slowly, he drew near again, the vines on his right arm moving ever so slightly with every step. "Now, who might you be? And what about your companion in the back?"

Sarah: "It...It really is you, Mr. Joestar." Sarah, fooled by the fact that she was still in virtual reality - had thought that she had encountered one of the three men that she was searching for; one of the three remaining Stardust Crusaders, the other two being her idol Jean-Pierre Polnareff and Jotaro Kujo. She performed a deep, rather dignified bow towards "Joseph", a grin upon her pale face as she spoke. Sarah: "I am Sarah April Monroe, from the country of Britain? My partner here, Travis Zane Alexander...he is from America. Both of us are Stand Users, and...well, I was intrigued by the stories. Of the five - well, six, if you really wanted to include Iggy - that took part in defeating DIO." Travis: "So THIS is "Joestar-san", Sarah? Jeez. I mean, I knew you love h-" Sarah shot a look towards the druggie Stand User that suggested that terrible things would happen to him later on.

  • "Ah, Britain. Wonderful place, wonderful place. Lived there in my early years, though you certainly knew that, with how interested you are in me - and the other Crusaders. I do miss Avdol, Kakyoin, and Iggy, though. They were good friends. Good people - or, animal, in Iggy's case - as well." The fake gave a slow, thoughtful nod, his eyes glazing slightly as he sunk deep into thought, remembering all the events that had occurred in his past - from when he was young and brimming with asspulls, to when he was older. From the Pillar Men to Dio and his gang of Stand Users. He remembered old friends, allies, etcetera. Slowly, the old man nodded, blinking a few times as he focused again. He then slowly sighed, the action accompanied with a shake of his head. Oh, how he missed it all. Speedwagon, Lisa Lisa, Caesar, Stroheim. Smokey - only to name a few. "But, my mission against Dio isn't all that has happened, you know. I was young once, back when I fought against the Pillar Men. That's how I lost my arm."

"Santana...Esidisi...Waamu...and Kars. Am I correct?" The girl had basically named off all four of the antagonists in Battle Tendency - all four being vampiric bros that were pretty much borderline homosexual. She knew enough to where she had heard Joseph had slain all four in combat - she didn't exactly know how they died, however. So Jason could make up some fine quality bullshit with this.
Kars never died you cuck.
"Yes, that would be correct." Jason said in response with a nod as Hermit Purple slowly disappeared from his arm - he didn't have any need for it anymore, after all. Sarah had seen it, and that was it. "But, do you know how they were defeated? Ah, no matter. Even if you do, I enjoy telling tales, reminiscing about the past." He grinned, his eyes glazing over again as he took a trip down Memory Lane. Back when he was only nineteen. After a few moments spent in silence, Jason spoke up with a somewhat soft, silent voice. "This all happened back in 1939, in case you didn't know. I was nineteen back then. Santana technically never died, nor did Kars. After I saved Speedwagon, I was helped by a Nаzi officer - Rudolf Von Stroheim - to neutralize Santana. Stroheim sacrificed himself, after which Santana was exposed to sunlight, setting him to stone. Later, he was brought to the HQ of the Speedwagon Foundation, where he was kept under UV lights." "After this, Caesar, Speedwagon, and I ran into the three other, more powerful Pillar Men - Esidisi, Wamuu, and Kars. Caesar and I fought Wamuu there, though we sadly lost. I managed to save both Caesar and Speedwagon, before convincing the Pillar Men to keep us alive by telling them I'd get stronger and defeat them within a month. Both Wamuu and Esidisi placed a Wedding Ring of Death in me, both of which would dissolve, thus releasing a highly deadly poison. This forced me to seek them out within thirty-three days." "Next, after Caesar and I finished our Hamon training with Lisa Lisa, I faced off against Esidisi. I almost killed him using my Hamon, though he sadly survived as only a brain - not for long, however. Esidisi later possessed Suzi Q, invading her body. Caesar and I forced his brain out of her body, and promptly finished him." "Then was Waamu. We didn't have a traditional fight, at first. Lisa Lisa and I met up with the two remaining Pillar Men at Skeleton Heel Stone, where we had a double duel. Wamuu and I had a Chariot race to the death, which I lost. We then fought without our chariots, as we both had crashed. I used my wits and smarts to defeat Wamuu after that." "Kars, the slippery snake, didn't honour his side of the contract, taking Lisa Lisa hostage with a body double. We fought, only for the German Army, as well as the Speedwagon Foundation to show up. Both were armed with large UV lights, cornering Kars.. Only, Kars used the Stone Mask, having the Red Stone of Aja power it. This turned him into the ultimate being." "I made a.. ahem, tactical retreat, using a plane to lure Kars into an active volcano, where we had another battle, in which I threw him into a lava pit with the help of Stroheim. Kars came out unscathed, cutting my arm off, before almost dealing the final blow with Hamon. I used the Red Stone of Aja to deflect and empower the Hamon, triggering a volcanic eruption that sent the both of us flying out of earth's atmosphere. Kars flew out into space, while I crashed back onto the earth with the 'island' I was on. A Fisher boat picked me up, after which Suzi helped me back to full health. We layer got married, and I eventually found everyone else again.. Who had thought I had died. They were at my funeral." Jason chuckled, slightly out of breath after talking so much. He blinked a few times, focusing his gaze on Sarah again. He was pulling so much bullshit right now.. He was certain he'd be a dead man if she ever found out he wasn't Joseph.

Sarah was, quite literally, completely silent for the entirety of "Joseph's" tale, her eyes widening ever so slightly at the more exciting, more important parts - which were pretty much only the fights, but still. Her arms crossed together, she nodded as the phony finished his story - it was extremely believable, even though a lot of ridiculous shit had happened during the tale. "...Honestly, that sounds...amazing. Then you proceeded onwards to traveling across the world in order to find Dio and identify his Stand...The World, alongside your grandson Jotaro Kujo, your friend Muhammad Avdol, the Frenchman Jean-Pierre Polnareff - one of my idols, the young man Noriaki Kakyoin, and...Iggy. It matches perfectly. It...well, it seems that I've finally found you, Mr. Joestar. It's...a pleasure. Truly."

An SMLE MKIII sniper rifle was trapped to the side and at his hip was the sword that Leyla had made for him* *Sapphire was in her familiar exosuit, holding her helmet with her left hand. Attached to the glove on her right was a strange metal band that gave off a yellow glow.* "Who're you two supposed to buh?" *Asked Sketch, tilting his head a little.*

*Sapphire turns back to them. Assuming the light can't be a good sign, her helmet splits down the middle and opens up. She holds it up, locking it shut around her head as air starts being pumped in.* "Well, we can fight you... But what or who are you looking for?" *Sapphire moves around Sketch, standing in front of him. She's not standing in any type of guard or anything. Just, standing.*
