[i] An invisible force grabbed Jackson from behind, keeping him from moving. Riley stood impaled on Kyr's Blade, eyes glazed and blank. ..Until she smiled. The body on her blade flickered and disappeared from existence, like the picture from an old TV. The real Riley, still cut and bleeding but without a stab wound in her collarbone flickered into existence behind Kyr, and rammed her sword through the woman's back, the audible crack of her spinal cord heard out loud, and Kyr's form crumpled to the ground like a bag of cement. Riley turned to Jackson and grinned..until a spray of blood erupted from her arms, legs, torso, face, everywhere.. hundreds of small but noticeable wounds opened in a fantastical spray of crimson, where she crumpled to the ground. What had just happened..? [/i] "Jackson..Lodestone's weakness.. blood. He was scared of blood." [i] She breathed only loud enough for Jackson to hear. She was going to live, the cuts all over her body were little more than glorified paper cuts, but there were a lot of them..But why was she telling him this? Jackson's analytical and tactical mind would have figured it out though. Riley had told him that all Powers weaknesses were linked to the owner's fears. Lodestone, was the metal manipulator Selene had gotten the metal manipulation, which was the very power that was keeping Jackson from ripping her apart with bullets. Riley had told him powers could only be deactivated by using the owner's fear and thus, their weakness, against them.. If Selene had stolen their powers, could it be possible she unintentionally stole their weaknesses as well..? [/i] [i] From her sprawled position on the ground, Riley withdrew a dagger from a sheathe on her thigh and hurled it past Jackson, at Selene. Naturally, the knife faltered in the air and dropped to the ground, but at the same time, caused her to relinquish her hold on Jackson.[/i] "Don't you see Riley?
