"Hm, your dressed for battle..."
A man dressed in a black wife beater and baggy Gi pants approaches the newcomer. A giant sword the size of him rests on his back, and a silver and black prosthetic arm stands out to him. How could someone wield such a giant sword?

He stops, then looks at the man talking to him. "Anything can happen. Why not be prepared?" His voice deep and metallic. He looks at the sword, then his arm. "Did you lose your arm in battle, or by lifting the sword?"

He chuckles, drawing his blade and spins it a bit before resting it in his shoulder. "Battle, the dojo finals actually. Guy I was fighting threw it so hard and fast it cut clean. Hurt like a bitch though."

"Ah. I've heard some people mention the fights. Never heard the name of your opponent, however." He leaned against a building wall, no weapons seemed to be visible on him. He crosses his arms and stares down at him.

"Names Zane, I have various titles but I'm in charge of security around here. Guy I was fighting was called JJ. He fought like hell though, but during the final part of the battle he lost control. Almost had to kill him. Glad I didn't have to though, he's the one who gave me my new arm."

"Nice to meet you Zane. I'm Rhys." He extends his arm for a more formal greeting. "That battle sounds like it was hell - but in a fun way."

He shakes Rhys's hand with his prosthetic, sheathing his blade and grinning. "Nice to meet you Rhys, what brought you here to the dojo?"

"You could say it was chance. I never intended on being here, it just happened. I'm supposed to be in another nebula entirely - but I found this place to be interesting, so I decided to stay for a while."

"Well the dojo welcomes all who wish to stay, so make yourself at home. Public housing should be nearby, you'll just need to register."

"Hm. Well thank you. I'll make sure to register, I could use some sleep I suppose."

"So how long have you been traveling? And what did you mean by another nebula? You not from this world?"

"I've been traveling for a few years now. Going from planet to planet. I'm supposed to be visiting someone on a planet called Beku. You wouldn't know it."

"A friend, or perhaps someone special to you?" He grins at his own question, remembering something.

"You could say they're special to me." He notices the grin. "What are you thinking?"

"Oh, just remembered how I met my wife. That's all. So where are you originally from?"

"I'm from Earth. Strange to think such a thing, but I am. Not quite sure what has happened to it though. What about yourself? Where are you from?"

He scratches his head, thinking of how to answer that. "Well...I'm not from here, but I can't say where I'm from. I assure you it's nowhere you have heard of."

Rhys tilts his head, confused. "You don't know where you're from? That's a bit odd to say the least. You'd think you have some for of recollection of the past. Unless you do, then I feel silly."

"The place I'm from has no name, at least not one that can be understood in this language. In the almost three years I've been here I've forgotten how to speak it."

Rhys seemed surprised, yet confused also. "Very odd. I hope you remember the tongue of your home world. It would be a shame if it was forgotten."
