He moves his gauntlet to block Despair, and quickly air dashes to the side. He lands and switches back to his beam sabers, forming an energy ball and sending it at JJ.

The Knight swings his sword against the ball, deflecting it and sending it flying against a wall to dissipate or blow up upon. [spoiler]If that's even possible. I know it is with the real Xemnas, but I don't know about you. If it isn't possible, just say that he took the blow with his hand, since he's completely made of energy.[/spoiler] This time, the Knight attempts to slice at Zane as JJ charges him, moving the Knight along with him.

The ball explodes when it hits the wall, and Zane leaps at JJ with blinding speed, slicing his stomach with his twin sabers and continuing to move past him.

The sabers cut through Rage, piercing the flesh of JJ stomach. However, even though he sustained injury, he didn't react. It seems like he doesn't feel it. Meanwhile, the Knight finishes his slice, and slams his sword into the ground right in front of Zane, causing him to run right into it. While that's happening, JJ calls Despair back to him and throws it at the top of Zane's spinal column.

He quickly forms two clones, one to block despair and the other to shield him from the Knights attack, which gets crushed instantly since it's a giant freaking blade, but manages to protect Zane. Twilight tendrils come crashing up from the ground, restraining the knight and allowing Zane to send another ball of energy at JJ.

JJ watches the ball, calling Despair back to him. It flies back, allowing him to bat the ball away just as the Knight had done. Then, JJ moves to cut the tendrils holding back the Knight's sword arm. They're destroyed upon being cut by Despair, allowing the Knight to free himself. And I'm assuming that Despair didn't destroy the clone that blocked it, JJ cuts down the clone as well. He then quickly turns to Zane, watching for his next move.

What Zane does next is incredibly risky, tendrils crash up from the ground, this time binding both JJ and the knight. He then dashes forward and stops short, directly in front of JJ as he creates an energy ball and sets it off, the explosion sending both him and JJ back, but causing electricity to surge through JJ as a result.

Rage slightly dissipates the shock and the blast, but most of it still hits JJ. He goes flying back, with the Knight moving backwards alongside him. Rage dims slightly as JJ struggles to his feet, his posture broken. Rage is battered and beaten, but slowly repairing itself. The Knight only has a few gashes and other breaks in its body from the explosion and Zane attacking it. Then, Rage and the Knight suddenly brighten, as JJ lets out a furious scream. His mind was being ravaged by the toll Rage took on him by this point, but it was out of control. The only way it'd stop now is if he calms down to the point where he can regain control, or if his body simply gives out. The Knight then begins slamming his sword down around Zane with a speed unlike before, but it was almost like it was throwing a tantrum. The massive sword began destroying the terrain around Zane, and threatened to crush him if he didn't attempt to move.

"Shit, if this keeps up he'll destroy the entire arena!" He dashes from side to side, dodging the sword smashes as he thinks. His aura flares up as he formulates a plan. Tendrils erupt from the ground to hold the knight as he jumps up into the air and starts gathering energy into his fist.

The tendrils restrain the Knight, but barely. With how much Rage flared up, the tendrils are hardly able to stop him. While Zane is gathering his aura, JJ throws Despair at the already strained tendrils, cutting a few. This weakening of the bonds allows the Knight to pull his hand free, which he immediately swings at Zane, swatting him out of the sky.

He hits the ground, coughing as he gets up. His left arm dangles uselessly, it clearly broken from the landing. "This has to end, it's now or never...." He glows as his weapons reappear, floating around him as he creates more clones. He sends the clones and weapons at JJ and the knight to distract him as he regathers aura and energy into his right fist, the arena starting to tremble and the air becoming harder to breath.

Rage and the Knight brighten just a little bit more at the sight of the clones, and the power causes a few of the panels in the simulation room to glitch out, showing images of the previous arena. However, there were no stars, and it had no affect on the terrain. It was simply a glitch, a visual error, no properties beyond that. But the Knight then sweeps his sword across the arena, destroying multiple clones as Zane had done to the ashen copies of before. This creates an opening, allowing JJ to toss Despair through said opening, headed straight toward Zane at a high speed with nothing to impede it.

He sees the incoming blade, and does the unthinkable, he moves to the side a bit, and the blade cuts right through his left arm, cutting it clean off. He grunts in pain but sees his opportunity and dashes forward, putting all his power into this last attack. [b]Meteor Blow[/b] He slams his fist into JJ's chest, hitting with the force of a meteor and causing a massive explosion as the energy envelopes JJ, causing his body to surge with electricity.

JJ flies backwards bouncing across the ground before skidding to a stop. The Knight dissipates, retreating back into Rage, slightly boosting it by returning energy. JJ was still alive, and still rendered feral by Rage's influence. However, he was crippled. He tried crawling his way back to Zane, before eventually stopping and holding out his hand desperately. Despair flies back to him, out of Zane's field of view. Unfortunately, Zane's right in the path. Despair hits Zane in the back, burying itself in Zane's upper spinal column.

He lets out a scream of pain, blood dripping from his back and pouring out of his left shoulder. He raises his right hand, his .44 returning to him as he raises it and shoots in JJ's direction. He can't see if they land though, his vision starting to blur.

Rage helped dissipate most of the impact, but they still hurt JJ. He just got lucky enough for none of them to hit a critical point. Beginning to pass out from the strain, JJ tried to completely pull Despair through the entirety of Zane, calling it towards him with the last of his strength.

He screams as he is pulled to JJ, landing on top of him. He grits as he points his .44 at JJ's head, his hand on the trigger. He mutters one word, cocking back the hammer. "Submit......"

JJ simply replied with a snarl. He was beyond reach by this point. Only blind anger and bloodlust took his place. Rage started to flicker and fade. If it went away, it'd lose its influence over JJ, allowing him to regain control. But by then, it may be too late as Zane could feel Despair getting deeper, and deeper. It was close to cutting his spinal cord, now. If that was damaged, all was lost.

Before Zane has to fire the shot, Rage gives out and fade. Despair stops pushing, regressing to a lack of energy. JJ passed out due to exhaustion and his injuries. It was over. Zane was the victor.

He lets out a sigh of relief, falling over next to JJ. A pool of blood dripping from where his arm use to be. He passes out himself, his overcoat and silver hair fading as he returns to normal.

"ITS OVER! ITS ALL OVER! YOUR GRAND CHAMPION REMAINS! ZANE IS THE VICTOR!!!" [spoiler]Rewards out later this eve! [/spoiler]

Guards and medics run to both of them, administering immediate attention.
